The first giant step away from anything conservative. Probably celebrating with the Clintons. Where’s the barf alert?
How Sweet It Is! Congrats and God Bless!
After the first 70 years, most marriages have a high success rate.
According to statistics.
“The longest-wed presidential couple set the record in 2000 when they surpassed John and Abigail Adams 54-year union.”
“Reporters”, proofreaders and editors seem to have serious problems with apostrophe’s (my sic) these days.
"Compassionate Conservative"
President Bush is a good man, even though he wasn’t the greatest President. Congratulations on his and his wife’s 70th anniversary.
DITTO.
Yes, but these reporter’s (sic) are well-versed in the history of colonial/capitalist oppression, social justice movements, critical social theory, and narrative theory. Isn’t telling the correct narrative more important than patriarchal spelling and grammar rules?

Drives me crazy. His last name was Adams, not Adam.
GHWB replaced morning in America with a thousand points of blight.
Are they going to have a new world order ceremony with sacrifices at an altar with secret handshakes and Beyonce performing?

Yes, especially for the affirmatively actioned, and we most certainly still need affirmative action, even and especially after twice electing a black president.
If you're an establishment liberal republicans then maybe he qualified as good. If you're a conservative, he's nothing but another big government statist with an R instead of a D
Maybe your definition of “a good man” is different than mine. Served his country in WWII, getting shot down in the Pacific. Honorably served as the head of the CIA, VP, and President, with not a hint of scandal. Raised several children, among them two Governors, and one President, again, with not a hint of scandal among them. Married 70 years.
To me, he’s a good man. If you want to view every man’s life through your narrow political spectrum, well thats you’re problem.
Well tootsie roll this happens to be a POLITICAL forum for the advancement of CONSERVATIVE ideas. As far as all of the irrelevant drivel you posted to justify your left/moderate position, there are thousands of others who did the same, but they were not a POTUS and they were not responsibile for the start of the destruction of the conservative trends that Reagan started.
You can take Bush (both of them) and all your Republican moderates and shove them into a garbage can. They did far more harm than good for the country. So your extremely shortsighted definition of a "good man" may work for you, but for anyone who isn't easily fooled it isn't worth spit.
Yeah, go ahead and throw rocks at 90 year old, wheelchair bound man who’s rapidly losing his marbles and is no longer relevant. Hope that makes you feel like a big man.
You must be a blast at parties.
Happy Anniversary President and Mrs. Bush.
Well OF COURSE let's let his destructive actions in the past go unremarked upon because he's old. Let see he left office in '93, 22 years ago, so by your "logic" anyone on death row for more than 22 years should be released too, but wait, Jimmy Carter is the same age, by all means let's celebrate him for his service record (Navy) and ignore his total mucking up of the country.
To hell with all democrats and "moderate" republicans. If if you're too liberal to understand what damage they did and continue to this country, well then I pity you. Maybe you should give Boehner's backside a great big kiss too.
Does it hurt being that bitter? I mean really. There’s more to life than politics. Lighten up. Have a drink. Go kiss your wife. Watch something that will make you laugh. Sounds like you could use it.
