Is this one of the freshman who promised to oppose McBoner?

This should be a good test as to whether or not your congressman is now or ever will listen to constituents, a vote for Boehner is the best indicator what your representative is there for, to be of service or to be served, you can bet Boehner is making a lot of promises; very few of which he will need to keep.
This is all so Stalinesque.
Those who would oppose Boehner are afraid to do so because their political career will effectively be “killed” if Boehner survives the “insurrection”.
Those who would oppose Boehner are afraid to do so because their political career will effectively be killed if Boehner survives the insurrection
. . . which only illustrates what the lack of TERM LIMITS means.
I sent email to Ken Calvert who responded thusly:
“Thank you for contacting me regarding the House Republican Conference’s leadership elections for the 114 th Congress. I appreciate the opportunity to respond. Now that we have the Senate in the 114 th Congress, I believe that the American people will be able to clearly see where the problem lies with moving the country forward.. the White House.
House Republican leadership is elected by the House Republican Conference at-large. Votes made by the members of the Conference at-large are, by custom, secret ballots so that members may vote their consciences without fear of reprisal.
You may be interested to know that the following Members were elected to House Republican leadership positions for the 114 th Congress:
Speaker of the House: John Boehner (OH-08)
Majority Leader: Kevin McCarthy (CA-23)
Majority Whip: Steve Scalise (LA-1)
Chair of the National Republican Congressional Committee: Greg Walden (OR-02)
House Republican Conference Chair: Cathy McMorris Rodgers (WA-05)
Chair of the Republican Policy Committee: Luke Messer (IN-6)
Once again, thank you for your correspondence. I hope you will continue to contact me regarding issues of importance to you and your family. In the meantime, I encourage you to visit my website at www.calvert.house.gov and sign up for my weekly e-newsletters. For urgent updates on critical issues, follow me on Twitter (@KenCalvert) and check out my Facebook page (Congressman Ken Calvert).
Sincerely,
KEN CALVERT
Member of Congress”
I doubt this clown is going to have the guts to vote against Boehner. I’m truly disgusted, and will never vote my support for this asshat again.

Jolly and Boehner, oh, brother....
I guess they think they were elected so that we could revel in their chairmanships and committee appointments. They either take a stand now and risk Boehner’s iron fist, or they will be looking for new jobs in 2016. It’s their choice.
I agree, term limits need to be implemented NOW.
What do the freshmen have to lose? They won’t get plum assignment? Probably won’t anyway. They won’t get a good office place, again not gonna happen. So what are THEY afraid of??? They could band together and pick the new speaker. What Power.
I agree. I don’t get the inertia.
