You should have read what he said about Conservatives and the Tea Party people during the primary. And yet, like abused wives, Conservatives and Tea Party people voted for him in the general. I suppose that hope springs eternal. And in their defense, they deserve to be pissed on. Or he would not piss on them. It is the old, “if you did not make me, I would not beat the hell out of you”.
It’s always all about the money.
That is all the voters out here seem to care about. Whomever they think is going to feather their nests best, or because it is who their daddy voted for.
I voted third party and silently hoped there would be enough write-ins and third party votes from Conservatives that Grimes would win. But alas, flocking to a perceived ‘winner’ is human nature, and graft along with basking in the glow of rulers trumps principles that our people sadly, are grown ignorant of.
Who da boy make his “pledge” too? The “DemocRAT” wing of the Communist Party USA? LGBT? The activist Feral “judges”? SEIU? The Illegal Alien Invaders? Who?
Those KY moderates have him in their pockiet.
Obviously, his pledge is to the Oligarchy and the Fundamental Transformation for which it stands.
McC originally called himself a “John Sherman Cooper Republican”, which is barely to the right of the late Edward Brooke.
And this is why Reid would be better off as being the majority leader cause with Mcconnel we will witness the GOP pushed further left.
All those who wanted Reid gone don’t bother whining about Mcconnel as you knew he was no better.
Here, here I agree.
I am done with them. As long as we stay in the tent we play be their rules and if they start to loose they will just simply change the rules.
Time to make a clean break like UKIP. We can take 50% of the GOP with us and 60% of the Independents who are nothing but pissed off former republicans anyway. Then we will see who the remaining thespians in the GOP want to show their backsids to. I am guessing they will go with the dems. So be it.
Mitch “Newspeak” McConnell strikes again!
“Scary Excess” = Demanding that our federal government LIMIT itself to the specific power granted it by the Constitution.
“Strident Stands” = Refusing to stand silent while one’s individual rights are trampled.
“Far Right” = A group of people who believe that the Constitution of the United States is the greatest contract between a People and a government ever devised, and that said contract should be followed by BOTH parties thereto.
Unless, of course, he is actually on their side.
I’ll bet there are just many conservatives who are proud of who they voted for as there are liberals. They simply never learn. They’re no different from a liberal who bitches about everything the democrat party does then keeps voting for them.
The GOP has simply yanked the faux mask off to reveal that it is NOTHING BUT a part of the Leftist Oligarchy.
McConnell vowed to destroy Conservatives and has repeatedly sought to ‘redefine it’. We are ‘scary’ and ‘extremist’, which is why we need to be ‘crushed’ and ‘punched in the nose’.
Conservatism would have been better off with Reid still in charge, but perhaps this will wake some die-hard Loyalists up to the fact that Conservatives no longer have any representation in DC and need to go Guerrilla if our ideology is to survive.
it is already being rendered politically and culturally irrelevant by the GOP leadership no less.
And .. the “SCARY” they’re talking about is:
TA DA ....................Ted Cruz!!
I can hardly wait to see what they try to do to silence him.
Fock McTurd-le. The RINO has to go.
I hope Mitch enjoys being in the minority party again in 2016.
He will, it’s what he lives for. No authority. no consequences, loud mouth fake posturing, re-election. Mitch is worthless and now everyone will see the republican party is not a conservative, small government political party.
The GOP arm of the Oligarchy has no desire to be in the lead. They are content to simply enable the Fundamental Transformation Obama is bringing and funnel big Corporate cronyism into their coffers so they can remain in power and enjoy the Big DC Cocktail and Dinner Party circuit.
It's because they threaten their majority, their power, their kickbacks, their open go-along-to-get-along deals, ability to make backdoor deals, fundraising, accountability, invitations to parties, reputation with media, other legislators not only federal, but their own state as well, and other countries abroad; and real Conservatives threaten their jobs.
Did I miss anything?
What monumental idiot had to give themself a lobotomy in order to wrack their brain to make that kind of statement?
