Democrats have to come to terms with the fact that the once-hallowed ground beneath them is quicksand---and they're sinking fast.

FREEPER HOMEWORK: the following List should be photocopied by the gross, accompanying every communique w/ Congress.

============================================

THE LIST---The treasure trove of "The Midterm Democrat Demolition Derby" and down-ticket state wins have yet to be fully- mined, but this we know:

<><> midterms were a massive and awesome rejection of prog/libs and everything they stand for...including amnesty;

<><> the usually reliable South dumped Democrats bigtime,

<><> Southern Democrats control not a single governorship, US senator or legislative chamber,

<><> Democrat losses stretch from the Carolinas westward to Texas,

<><> despite Obama's targeting Texas, it remains redder than ever,

<><> Of 140 Southern States election districts---110 went Republican,

<><> GOP's House majorities are so huge and solid NBC's Chuck Todd says Dems can't recapture losses until 2022.

<><> Some pundits say Republicans have a 100-year majority,

<><> the grassroots dumped 30 lock-stepping Senate Democrats who voted sucked-up for Obamacare,

<><> Ark and Ill (Clinton hometowns) have Repub governors---guvs control party machinery,

<><> GOP has every congressional seat in Arkansas; first time in 141 years,

<><> Unprecedented MINN 6th Congressional district---every single House and Senate district went Repub

<><>GOP now controls the MINN State House,

<><> Ohio's historic GOP statehouse takeover means gun Control is toast,

<><> Ohio's Gov, Lt. Gov, AG, Secy of State, State Auditor, State Treasurer--all R---Sup/Ct - 6 R/1 D,

<><> Britt Hume: "latino vote is zilch"---"over-50" is significant 30% voting segment; no mention of CoC,

<><> Republicans unified control: gov/legislature in 23 states (per Ntl Conference of State Legislatures factoid),

<><> Repub governorships: Florida, Tx, Ill, Ohio, Mich, MD, Wisconsin, NC, GA, Mass, .

<><> Environmentalists fogged out---suffered huge losses,

<><> Gun Control Candidates blitzed,

<><> "War on Women" became a ntl joke,

<><> Both Clintons' de****ed; most candidates they flacked lost,

<><> Montana, So/Dakota and West/VA Dems were forced to retire; no hope of getting re-elected,

<><> An Arizona House recount race went Republican,

<><> AZ Republican McSally wins last open House seat (Dem Gaby Giffords seat),

<><> Repub McSally's win gives GOP 5-4 advantage in AZ congressional delegation,

<><> Repubs hold 247 House seats, the largest GOP majority advantage since Truman post-World War II,

<><> 73% of LA's white voters say they "strongly disapprove" of Obama,

<><>The new Republican Congress holds the largest House majority in 83 years.

No, I think they just realized that if they go too far into the tank for Obama’s EOs, they won’t be able to send it down the memory hole.

“Compromise”? Obama has been operating by Thucydides’ admonition that the strong will do what they have the power to do, and the weak will accept what they have to accept. But that works both ways, and personally I can’t wait to hear the squeals and gnashing of teeth from the left side of Congress if and when the REAL Republicans take back the White House in 2016 using the precedent set by the Golfer in Chief in making new laws...

Nullifying EO’s has nothing to do with denying Congress’ power as EO’s have nothing to do with Congress’ action. Get rid of ‘em all.

A project for a conservative think tank, if any exist anymore, would be to identify Federal and State laws that are reactionary and destructive and need to be repealed. We have so many laws, you can not be law abiding anymore.

I might be tolerant of certain gun control acts being EOed away.

If working with Congress is suddenly deemed optional, what would stop those evil Republicans from implementing a little executive action of their own next time they’re in power?

Answer: mushy Federal judges declaring everything President Cruz does to be unconstitutional, tying the executive orders up in the courts until President Warren can rescind them.

The "contraception mandate" is just executive order & HHS regs anyway; it's wrong to assert that President Cruz abrogating it is some sort of executive power grab. Ditto for the EPA silliness.

To really get liberal panties in a wad, imagine Pres. Cruz announcing that the FACE act just isn't to his liking and won't be enforced. Same for Brady background checks.

This is the “EXACT REASON” why the illegal and unconstitutional use of executive orders and implementation of regulations from multiple agencies under the umbrella of the executive branch needed to be squashed immediately by the juidicial branch when they were approached ...now it is a money eating clusterf___ with no rational outcome. So we have a DOJ that ignores current laws and prosecutes states that try to implement measures to fill the void of federal responsibilities not met. Billions of tax dollars spent for reasons NOT AUTHORIZED by congress and no one lifts a finger...this is the result of lawlessness plain and simple.....the electorate (and voter corruption) combined will allow this to continue...I no longer see an orderly lawful resolve to this mess created by the criminals in Washington. Work for yourself...use cash only and become self-sufficient for the basic essentials to live ....the communists and now muslims have infiltrated so deep within the labyrinth of our federal government that legally purging them is all but impossible. Thank you for letting me vent...but I have been yelling since DACA the first real illegal E.O. no one in congress lifted a finger. That being said I will only vote for a Ted Cruz type candidate. Without a staunch conservative who will jail the persons within the government who are participating in this overthrow of our republic then there is no reason for me to participate any longer...I will have to be as selfish as the current liberals and cover me and my families rear. Sorry for the length but this just gets my blood boiling.

If there is only one side “compromising”, isn’t that considered a surrender?

John Boehner and Mitch McConnell, please pick up the white courtesy phone.

This is why it is *critical* that ALL Republican candidates for POTUS be asked about presidential powers:

“Do you believe that the *office* of the president has too much power; the right amount of power; or needs more power?”

Unless they immediately say, with no hesitation or qualification, that the office of the president has too much power, *and* how with the help of congress this power will be reduced to more constitutional levels, then that candidate is unfit for office.

If their ego is so great they think they can “control” the power or “use it for good”, then they must be rejected, because unconstitutional power can *never* be used for good.

It was Paul “Forehead” Begala who once said of Bill Clinton’s randy EO pen,

“Stroke of the pen, law of the land, kinda cool.”

When President Cruz begins wielding his blitzkrieg pen against Obamacare & illegal immigration, Begala will have to contemplate another ironic saying:

“Karma’s a b!tch.”

Neither the WAPO nor the communists in the US government are uninterested moderating anything at this point in time. What they are attempting to do is set a precedent that makes using Executive Orders by any president other than a democrat politically incorrect.

As always, when the democrats hold power, they march in lockstep towards their political goals, and the opposition is ignored as well as vilified and demonized by all media.

When the democrats are in the minority, they cry constantly for compromise and power-sharing, and their cause is parroted and promoted by all media ad infinitum.

All media will never stop shilling and whoring themselves in support of their Boy King.

They realize the EO sword cuts both ways. This is a weak attempt to blunt that sword before it is passed to a successor who is politically unacceptable to their party.

I recall when freepers thought GW was going to do this. He did manage to spend more money that any president in history, but little else. It is almost like someone somewhere has this little room that all politicians are called into and an offer they can't refuse is made.
