Unfortunately my family still owns a brownstone in NYC so I’m fully aware of what goes on. Those laws are a landlord’s nightmare. The tenants don’t give a hoot about those laws.
Here in Upstate NY we recycle if we feel like it or if the recyclables take too much space in a garbage bag and we don’t want to pay another $2.00 for another garbage bag. This just shows how much a scam the recycling laws are. It’s all about money and not about landfills.
Will New Yorkers be surprised when all the adgets just end up thrown on the sidewalk?
One crew digs the ditch, the other crew fills it back in...
