SEAN HANNITY: EVERY REPUBLICAN CONGRESSMAN MUST RECONSIDER BOEHNER’S CRED AFTER SCALISE SCANDAL
Breitbart ^ | December 30, 2014 | by MATTHEW BOYLE

Posted on 12/30/2014 10:04:19 PM PST by Jim Robinson

Fox News anchor Sean Hannity, also a nationally syndicated radio host, is tripling down on his calls to demand new blood in House GOP leadership.

In the wake of Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC) rebuffing his call to run against Speaker John Boehner after the white supremacy scandal that has rocked Boehner’s ally, House Majority Whip Steve Scalise, Hannity is calling on every Republican member of the House of Representatives to reconsider whether Boehner is in fact an effective leader.

“Every Republican member needs to ask themselves if John Boehner is really the best person to lead the conservative movement at this important time in history,” Hannity said in an email to Breitbart News. “Are they voting for him as a leader or for the Committee assignments they have been promised? The American people expect and deserve bold and dynamic and inspiring leaders. The next 2 years are critical for the country.”

Hannity said that if Republicans return to conservative principles by rejecting Boehner and installing a replacement, they will be “rewarded” with political victories in 2016’s crucial presidential election.

~~snip~~

Hannity also called on House Financial Services Committee chairman Rep. Jeb Hensarling (R-TX) to present himself as a challenger to Boehner. Hensarling, a former chairman of the Republican Study Committee and a Texas conservative with establishment credentials, has long been talked about as a potential Boehner opponent...

How did someone like Boehner even get considered to be a republican House leader?

Right? Just take one look at the guy and it's obvious what a puxxy he is. He might as well have "PLEASE TREAD ON ME!" stamped on his oversized forehead.

John Boehner has joined with the communist left and will suffer in hell for being a traitor to all Constitutional loving American taxpayers.
He reminds me of Harry Reid.

Chill pills don’t work for realists, who are angry and rightfully so at the beast Boehner, who immediately bowed to Satans advocate in the White House and stabbed conservatives in the back by financing the beast. And now the beast has sent money to Iran to finance Islamic Iranian forces in Iraq.
God will save Israel, but America may be finished.

Bonehead has got to go. He is too close to King Obama and is not working for the people.

There was no vote by anyone at anytime. Rumors of a vote are not true. Common sense dictates that the new House is the one that votes. Everyone votes for the Speaker of the House, which by the way, does not have to be a representative. It is by tradition that a representative is the Speaker, but the Constitution states clearly the Speaker can be anyone.

Having stated this, there is no chance, I repeat zero chance, that Boehner is not elected Speaker once again. The members want him, otherwise, they would not vote for him.

Likewise, no vote has been taken for Majority Senate Leader, but both votes are taken as soon as the members are sworn in at noon.

Don't understand the speculation since Boehner will win the vote by the House next week. There are no other announced candidates, so Boehner will win. No one is going to announce at this point, it would be suicide. There is nothing up in the air. I suppose fantasy is nice if you want to engage in it. I prefer reality.

LOL. There aren't even any announced candidates challenging Boehner and no one is going to announce at the last second. It takes many months of planning and getting quiet support to win and NO ONE has been doing that. Where does this wishful fantasy come from?

Announced alternative candidates wouldn’t hurt, but they aren’t necessary. Conservatives can just fail to vote, or vote for Mickey Mouse, etc. If Boehner fails to get 218 votes the process will necessarily re-open and alternative(s) will arise.

It is January 2 and the vote is in a few days and there are no alternative candidates much less any announced candidates. To dethrone a sitting Speaker takes a lot of planning (months), behind the scenes political skill and hardball. None of that has happened and it isn't going to happen this time either.

Remember back in 1998, when a group of politicians tried to dethrone Gingrich as speaker - there was a cabal of them including Boehner. They worked quietly behind the scenes trying to obtain support and it did not work.

Please tell me how this will work? Implosion is not sufficient explanation and is a cop out. It smacks of wishful fantasy again.

Can you describe the steps that need to happen in the next few days for Boehner to be shoved out of the Speaker's chair? Point A to point B...if this was October and there were active candidates running against Boehner, then it is possible. No one has laid the groundwork needed to be elected Speaker.

Irrelevant.

You asked how it is possible and I schooled you on how it is possible.

Considering history is full of politicians imploding, the only legitimate, mature and sane response is you thanking me for making you that less ignorant in life.

But if you want to change the topic to your own liking from my original one sentence post of Boehner going down, to inflate your obvious shallow ego, then take your reply from the owner of the forum you are posting on and bring it up with him.

You don’t even seem to be aware that you are posting in a thread with “scandal” in the headline.

Look, implosion is not a plan of action. Implosion is wanting something to happen - a luck filled circumstance akin to a lightning strike. It happens from time to time, but the odds are astronomical. I want Boehner to go, but I am a realist first and not a wishful fantasy guy like you.

If Boehner is to be dethroned, you would have a leader of an organized group laying the foundation behind the scenes and you would have an announced candidate. There is no announced candidate against Boehner. You can't beat him with no one.

The only other candidate will be Pelosi, but no republican is going to vote for her. Why would someone vote for Gowdy who has said he does not want the position?

You need someone to oppose Boehner and no one has stepped forward. I'm sure you were one of those wishful fantasy guys who thought McConnell would lose his race in Kentucky, only to win by 18 points or so.

You look, you’re an idiot.

Why do you continue Trolling me with your defeatist stupidity when you could be working a plan of action with Jim Robinson or at the very least responding to this post which directly slapped you down...

Let’s say I am an wishful fantasy guy posting against Boehner... in a thread from Breitbart, about Hannity slamming Breitbart, posted by Jim Robinson and has “scandal” in the header.

At worst I am a silly optimistic who can be safely ignored instead of Trolled for days.

Compare that with a GOPe Trolling Jerk like you, running interference for Boehner and who offers nothing up but a complete waste of time over several days, even though I gave a link to action (while you have not) and all because I posted “Boehner is going down.”

One of us is nothing but a steaming pile of stuff that doesn’t even belong here.

Hey, thanks for making a wishful fantasy guy like me look good.

Now finally, was there something else I can help you with?

Here is a second action link for you smart guy:

Funny, I don’t see you posting in any of the action threads.

But I am sure you have more time to cry about my wishful fantasy.
