Nicki Minaj Opens Up About Abortion: It's 'Haunted Me All My Life'
yahoo.com ^ | December 30, 2014 | Raphael Chestang

Nicki Minaj is about as thick-skinned as they come, but she opened up about a decision that left her heartbroken back in her teen years.

The 32-year-old rapper spoke to Rolling Stone about a pregnancy that ended in abortion while she was still in high school.

"I thought I was going to die," she says when she found out she was pregnant. "I was a teenager. It was the hardest thing I'd ever gone through."

According to Rolling Stone, the father of her unborn child was an older guy from Queens that she dated while still attending Manhattan's Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts.

Nicki first rapped about the incident on a track called "Autobiography" from her 2008 mixtape, Sucka Free, but made headlines with a reference to the event on "All Things Go" from her latest album The Pinkprint. On the track, Nicki makes the confession in a verse that focuses on her dreams for her younger brother, Micaiah "Caiah" Maraj.

"I want Caiah to go to college, just to say we did it," she rhymes. "My child with Aaron would have been 16 any minute / so in some ways I feel like Caiah is the both of them / It's like he's Caiah's little angel, looking over him."

I must be getting old. I have no idea who this person is, but the article was on the Yahoo! home page, so I guess she must be someone famous.

Just another rapper, who sings about her body parts and grinds them for the cameras.

I have mixed feelings whenever I hear about wacko leftists having abortions. I guess it comes down to a choice between a non-existent life or a screwed up one via liberal parents.

She is the Black Title Holder for 2014 Butt Of The Year, just ask her. Nicki Minaj not an American, from Trinidad. She started as a songwriter and dancer for Madonna. Nicki has made some very slutty and very successful videos. She now raps her songs as she UN-raps her body.
Nicki is very proud of her course language, her full figure, and full schedule.

She’s clearly conflicted. Regrets her abortion greatly, and says clearly she wants to be a mother.

Yet she gladly participates in the part of the world that pays her a lot of money to “sing” about meaningless sex, and requires her to say about her abortion: “it was the right decision at the time.”

More conflict to come. Check back with her in 10 years....

Whoppi “brainless wonder” Goldberg: “I wish my mother had had an abortion.” Do not even waste your time on this one. This POS is a fool, a whore and can’t sing to boot. She also looks awful without a ton of makeup. Leave it alone....

i saw her interviewed recently and was very surprised at how modest she came across... not a lot like her stage persona... she was soft-spoken, and she measured her words...

Like other libtards she totally supports abortion and has had one herself.

These people scream at us that they aren’t people. It’s just tissue. It’s a procedure just like any other operation.

Yet they regret it.

Who regrets removing a cancerous tumor? Who regrets an operation that removes a diseased part of the body (ie “just tissue”)? Who regrets the removal of parasites infesting a wound? Who regrets removal of a foreign body causing a person great inconvenience and pain?

You don’t have funerals for body parts. You don’t name tumors. You don’t celebrate birthdays of parasites removed.

These people are in massive hypocritical denial.

She is a total freak.

Ah, but she is a "talented" and "accomplished" "artist".

"hypocritical denial" is redundant.

Not really.

Some people are hypocrites and know they are. They just can’t make themselves live the other way because it’s too hard to admit they’re wrong.

Like the evolutionists who are evolutionists despite knowing this stuff isn’t random and the odds are so improbable and the whole transitional form theories never work, yet they stay evolutionists because believing in God is unthinkably horrible for them.

She says she’s “haunted” by that decision, which she made when she was very young, still in high school. Kudos to her for coming forward and talking openly about regret.

Some people are hypocrites and know they are.

Technically, all hypocrites know they are, because the original sense of the term is one who is acting contrary to what they believe or feel. I've always felt that an exemplar was Bill Clinton, when he was caught feigning tears at some funeral. Somebody look it up.

Now when you cite "evolutionists who are evolutionists despite knowing this stuff isn’t random and the odds are so improbable and the whole transitional form theories never work", I think you are projecting. You are assuming that they feel as you do, yet are supressing these feelings and dishonestly proclaiming the opposite. As Nietzsche said, "The proof of such a claim is lacking."

Not projecting at all. I base it off of an actual quote from an evolutionist.

Sir Arthur Keith, famous British evolutionist

“Evolution is unproved and unprovable. We believe it only because the only alternative is special creation – which is unthinkable.”
