Giuliani to de Blasio: say to police that you're sorry [Unsolicited and unwelcome good advice.]

Some unsolicited and unwanted advice yesterday from former mayor Rudy Giuliani to current mayor Bill de Blasio of New York, on Face the Nation.  Jessica Chasmar in the Washington Times:

Rudy Giuliani said Sunday that New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio owes law enforcement an apology for creating “an impression with police that he was on the side of the protesters.”

“Mayor de Blasio, please say you’re sorry to them for having created a false impression of them,” Mr. Giulianisaid on “Face the Nation” Sunday.

“You did create a false impression of them. Say you’re sorry. Say you didn’t realize. Say you didn’t realize you have … a nonwhite police department, in terms of [the] majority,” the former New York City mayor added.

Giuliani did stress that de Blasio is not to blame for the deaths of Officers Ramos and Liu:

“The mayor of the city of New York should not be blamed for the murder of those police officers. That issue should not have been injected. It’s wrong. I told the mayor that yesterday. And I don’t support that,” Mr. Giuliani said. “You have to respect the mayor’s position.”

An apology from de Blasio would be as believable as “I love you” from a whore.

It ought to be illegal for politicians to be permitted to spew their BS apologies.

Good old Rudy. Everyone knows that apology wouldn’t be worth a bucket of warm spit.

Liberals never apologize without some type of qualification or equivocation.

The first step in recovery for an Alcoholic is to admit that they are an Alcoholic.

For de Blasio, the first step is to admit that he is stupid.

Until he admits that he is stupid, NYC will be unable to begin the healing process...

Apologize? I love it when politicians speak their minds and reveal who they are.

I’m sick of this apology crap - if he didn’t mean it - he wouldn’t have said it. Saying “I’m sorry,” wouldn’t be truthful but only a way to walk back what he said and keep face. He can take an apology and shove it where the sun doesn’t shine.

Libs never apologize except at their prison sentencing or being caught in Anthony Weiner type indescretions.

deBlasio is a wimp. If he was actually a real commander-in-chief of the police (which the office of NYC mayor represents) he would be firing those in the chain of command that allowed such disrespect, and handing out time off and annotating the personnel file of every officer that could be identified.

A commander (be it military or any institution that requires discipline) never tolerates being dissed by those in chain of command without significant disciplinary action. It’s one reason we don’t allow unions in the USA military that can cannibalize the chain of command.

The military doesn’t have to face the left’s unions....yet.

Besides, at the federal level the military union will not have the vote percentages to be as all powerful as the police/firemen/city worker/nurses/etc. unions that are looting our large cities.

Why bother if it would be an insincere gesture?

The best apology would be his resignation.

And when they DO apologize, it is more along the line of “...I am sorry you were offended by that....” instead of actual remorse or contrition.

I think Columbo has figured it out!

The Case of the Dark Dilemma

Der Unterschied: Columbo ?berf?hrt M?rder. Und ich ?berf?hre mein ...

“Now let me see if I have this right. The family situation is so unstable, ‘Junior’ doesn’t even know where to send a Father’s Day card. There’s no guidance or discipline in the home. Junior gets dumped into the education system where he is socially promoted because the overwhelmed school district can’t deal with the undisciplined whelp. Junior’s major formative influences are ‘gangsta’ rap videos and a corresponding peer group of gangsta wannabes.

At age 18, Junior is turned loose on society carrying a bad attitude, a broken compass and little respect for authority. Junior gets himself in big trouble with the law and meets dire consequences. Then, the situational diagnosis is that the police need more training and understanding?

Pardon me for asking, but do you really believe that bullshit?”

Everyone knows DeBlasio is a SORRY individual, and communists don’t apologize for being communists, they do however apologize for anything they say or do that may vaguely sound American.

It’s not enough to say you’re sorry. That’s just the first step. The second step is to take some action to make up for what you did; and the third is to initiate a plan, publically, to make sure it doesn’t happen again.

Forget de Blasio. He’s a wimp loser. Think beyond politics. I’ve heard that this is all about the union positioning itself to get major increases on already lucrative contracts.

How many Americans would like to retire with 6 digit incomes + all benefits in their 40s, and have it guaranteed for life? It is all paid for by taxpayers with ever declining income. Average taxpayers are being screwed over because of competition from illegals, H1Bs and crooked bankers that have robbed all of us via the Fed and the great bailout.

Hey our nation is going down the tubes to a illegals and others on the bottom, and a select crony few on the top and in certain government jobs have it all.

I don’t know about you but most of us see our communities of hard working Americans going to pot, while some live the great life at our expense.
