After nearly a week of vacation in Hawaii, the president's scorecard looks like this: four rounds of golf, three visits to the gym, a trip to the bowling alley and a hike through the wilds of Oahu.
It's a fairly typical Hawaiian presidential getaway, filled with athletic pursuits for a relentlessly competitive commander in chief in search of a worthy adversary.

Reading this article, one is reminded of how Kim Jong-Il was treated by HIS worshipful media:
In his first match at Pyongyang Lanes, Kim bowled a perfect 300, according to state-run news media... But that is nothing compared with the five holes in one and 38 under par that Kim reportedly shot in his maiden round of golf.

The American media is as cultish as the NORKS.
Oh, the American media PRETENDS to be “objective” with a few comments about how others are able to play the game better. Yet in the context it is always done with a caveat that the Dear Reader Obamugabe is soooo busy saving the world. Otherwise he would be a better athlete.
Richard Simmons is a better athlete. The media need to up their excuse-making game.
WHAT A COMPLETE PHONY!!!
Why does Obama love all this stuff so much? Same reason my son, who is not yet a man does - he has not yet put childish things aside.
I was in my 20s when I started losing interest in sports (I had been play by play announcer, writer, sideline reporter and sports trivia savant) - and became more interested in real stuff....Obama’s never done that.
Basketball?
Since the 2 out of 20, that is the first time I have seen a mention of basketball.
Never have seen any golf scores, either. Maybe he ‘knows’ he is going to win, so he doesn’t even bother filling out a score card or he uses Affirmative Action scoring.
My guess is that this is all part of Obama's extreme insecurity, and is part of the cover-up to try to make people think he is something he isn't. In other words, this whole life is one of fake imagery, and this is just part of the fake. Otherwise, why would he always pick underlings and children to "compete" against.
Are you bleepin' kidding me?
Maybe he needs a getaway in the Alps.
“four rounds of golf, three visits to the gym, a trip to the bowling alley and a hike through the wilds of Oahu.”
We have never really seen his golfing, which is telling; we have seen his workout (see above); he’s described his own bowling as “Special Olympics” level; his throwing motion is pathetic; and his basketball skills seem to be pretty limited. Perhaps he nailed the nature hike. Probably one of the most impressive hikes ever!
Just by the way he carries himself on the basketball court and golf range, he looks about as athletic as a one-legged ostrich. Actually, the ostrich would probably be more athletic.
Not to mention that we’ve seen him bowl...and its not pretty.
He keeps in shape by hitting the softballs thrown at him by the media. Worthless all.
CBS? So in other words the old, “They’re bred to be athletes...”
