When the government is paying the healthcare bill, the individual behavior of each patient has an impact on every taxpayer. If they want free choice on how to live their lives, they shouldn’t support socialized medicine.
When you’re not paying the bills, the people who are get a say-so.

I know several overweight people. Grossly obese would be a good description. Although fully functional in society, they have severe psychological problems. A simple diet or even threats will not reduce their weight. It is a symptom of other issues that I’m guessing are mostly untreatable. Each is an individual and the Left’s rank and file military approach is a waste of money, effort and even thought. It isn’t society’s problem to resolve. It’s clearly a MYOB issue.
