Perpetually outraged Mohammedans, too? /sarc
Merry Christmas!
Certainly explains the atheists who are perpetually offended
More like, “CHRISTIANS are Much Happier...” Muslims are ultra “religious”, but they seem to be perpetually pissed off — not all that happy.
.....Most likely it was refering to people who are Christians are very much the real subject in the article.
Yes, you are right about Muslims, ultra devout but not happy about it.
There is a former Muslim who wrote this book called I believed, “Searching For Allah, Finding Jesus.” Want to read that one.
Merry Christmas!
Time after time I’ve heard of stories where Muslims praybo Allah to appear before them or do something to prove that he’s real but nada, zilch, nothin’. Then they pray to Jesus and he has appeared. This is. Not just a few times either. I have heard about many times.

As a Christian I am happy because I have the peace that comes from knowing I am saved. I am happy to have Holy Spirit living in me. I am happy to have so much love to give and that came after I received Jesus. I was not a loving person prior to that and the giving of love is like any other thing you give. It is actually better to be giving it than receiving it. I asked God to give me the ability to love others and He did that immediately. But I cannot out-give God. I am happy because He loves me so much. I am just happy.
They undeniably fit better in the "much more murderous than others" category...
AMEN! Same here!
Granny the first chapter in the Alcohol Anonymous book gives the testimony of the founder and his search for sobriety. What he found was anybody can sober up for a short period but staying sober was the hard part. He noticed then that the more religious people were always stronger willed and happier than him. Later he met one of his old drinking buddies and was amazed at how good he looked, when he offered him a drink he declined and said he had stopped drinking. When he was asked how he did it he simply said he found religion. It was that moment when Bill started the process of sobriety with a combination of religious teachings and he ended up staying Sober until his death. AA doesn’t sober you up, a weeks hospital stay can do that easy and it’s part of the process when starting the program. It uses the religious aspect to provide the tools to stay sober, it certainly worked for me and I was going through two gallons of whisky a week. I’m much happier and far stronger than I’ve ever been, God gave me a second chance and I hope he grants that blessing to many others in need.
Let’s put it another way - Christians who attend services are likely to carry a bit of the joy and peace of Christmas in their hearts for many weeks following the holidays. Others who only do the rituals of presents are disappointed right after the gifts are opened and everyone leaves the ‘party’.
Faith is deeper than gifts, songs, etc. It goes deep into one’s inner being, the heart and soul.
Well-stated, Gumdrop. Merry Christmas!
How does anyone measure somone else’s happiness?
Self-reporting is not a measurement.
Amen! You said it the best!
A good and blessed Merry Christmas!
It is more of how you apply it long after the holidays are done.
