Evidence is mounting that the U.S. economy is kicking into high gear.

Gross domestic product soared 5% on an annual basis in the third quarter, the government said on Tuesday.

To put that in perspective, it's the strongest quarter of growth since 2003.

"Other than the first quarter's weather-induced contraction, there's no doubt the economy has been great this year," said Dan Greenhaus, chief global strategist at BTIG.

Investors cheered the news, sending the stock market to record highs with the Dow crossing 18,000 for the first time ever.

Growth came across the board with business investment, consumer spending, housing, exports and government spending all showing signs of strength.

I'll wait for the "unexpected" revision.

That’s good info. The low gas prices are also having an effect.

Nope. Not buying it. The economy is NOT growing and is NOT creating any net jobs. In fact, we’ve been LOSING jobs every month since OZero took over. And it makes sense. Who creates jobs under communist rule except the government? Unfortunately for the Marxists in charge, they can’t hire people as fast as private industry can fire them.

We have been in a deep recession for six years.

I that inflated dollars?

if you spent 100 last year on something that costs $105 today, the economy did not ‘grow’ at all.

And I know my grocery bill has AT LEAST doubled since 2008

Yep and that should bring right around the 2-3% of unreported inflation and we are going.... nowhere. Yippee!

Well, the prices of Oil and energy have dropped a lot.

I am paying 20% less for gas than before.

that should be a huge boost to your pocket and mine.

What you said, plus: Exposing The Deception: How The US Economy "Grew" By $140 Billion As Americans Became Poorer

In addition to Obamacare, they "revised" a bunch of personal savings downward and put them into the economy.

Bottom line: This is another garbage article designed to keep the fraud going a little longer.

It appears the bulk of consumer spending came because of increased Obamacare costs.....if the analysis at zerohedge can be believed.

You won't hear that on the networks, eager to prop up the Obama Regime.
