France is to step up police and military patrols in areas frequented by the public following recent attacks, Prime Minister Manuel Valls has said.
He said up to 300 soliders would be deployed around the country to boost security over the Christmas period.
The attacks, seemingly unrelated, in Nantes, Dijon and Tours have left more than 20 people injured.
In the latest incident, 10 people were hurt when a van was driven into a Christmas market in Nantes on Monday.
In Dijon on Sunday, driver shouting "God is great" in Arabic ploughed into pedestrians into pedestrians, injuring 13 people.
On Saturday, a man using the same phrase was shot dead by police after attacking them.
Speaking earlier on Tuesday, Mr. Valls sought to reassure the public, saying there was "no link" between the incidents.....

I can imagine several European states adopting the “Mexican model”, which for many years meant that while the police would continue to do ordinary policing, there would be armed soldiers on every street corner.
I hope they remember to dip their bullets in pigs blood.
Diversity is their strength!
“The attacks, seemingly unrelated, in Nantes, Dijon and Tours”
We shall see if the brilliant Marxists/socialists/leftists can deduce any common element in these attacks.
No? Well, just a thought.
In one breath, the article says “...The attacks, seemingly unrelated,...’
and then “...driver shouting “God is great” in Arabic ...” and followed by “...On Saturday, a man using the same phrase ...”
No... there’s no “relation” there, no sir.
I do suspect though, that like the Rainbow Warrior's explosions in New Zealand, the DGSE will be operating to 'correct' issues with those who preach violence against France. I would not be surprised to hear of the disappearance or accidental deaths of high profile trouble making muhamedans in France and lands where France has interests and influence.
It would indeed be entertaining to get close enough to Monsewer Valls to explain what the connection is between these incidents. My right link and my left link could show him the light in two brief lessons. Not that we don’t have our own cadre of dumbasses but clowns like this simply need to be re-trained, with prejudice-——Semper Fi
“In Dijon on Sunday, driver shouting “God is great” in Arabic ploughed into pedestrians into pedestrians, injuring 13 people.
On Saturday, a man using the same phrase was shot dead by police after attacking them.”
Yet the attacks are still “seemingly unrelated”?
Tell you what would keep you safe. Round up and deport all the ROP members and send them back to their hell holes.
The pushback is coming.
The yelling of allah akhubar in public should be treated as a terrorist act
If I ever hear a snackbar being shouted in public, I’m just going to run and/or drop to the nearest cover.
In Dijon on Sunday, driver shouting “God is great” in Arabic ploughed into pedestrians into pedestrians, injuring 13 people.
On Saturday, a man using the same phrase was shot dead by police after attacking them.

Shouting “God is Great!” before killing someone and this idiot says there is no link between the attacks?
I was in Paris about three years ago when security was beefed because of a higher terror alert. It was very strange to see the Eifel Tower having armed soldiers patrolling around it. Not the way I enjoy seeing Paris. I hope it doesn’t become a fact of life over there.
