De Blasio’s nightmare [Politico Crying for the Commie, not murdered cops]
Politico ^ | 12/22/14 | MAGGIE HABERMAN and GLENN THRUSH

Bill de Blasio, like his progressive political idol Barack Obama, is finding out that you can’t do the New Politics if you don’t pay attention to the old politics.

In Obama’s case, it was a failure to recognize the threat posed to him by Republicans who didn’t buy into his calls for a post-partisan partnership with Congress. For New York’s ambitious liberal mayor, it was an inability to keep long-simmering tensions with the city’s traditionally powerful police department from boiling over in the last few days.

Just over a year after sailing into office with 72 percent of the vote on a message of transformational change, de Blasio found his mayoralty subsumed by a torrent of anger, unleashed by the murder of two police officers in Brooklyn Saturday by a troubled gunman who said he was killing "pigs"....

I like the way they blame Obama’s lack of ability to work with Congress on Congress.

Odd that "civil rights legend" Al Sharpton is not by Blabbio's side lately (/snix)

Sharpton told Reuters de Blasio's request to halt protests was "ill-defined" ...
"Is a vigil a protest? Is it a rally?" Sharpton asked.

Maybe Sharpton's financial supporters know the answer. Read on.

========================================================

Fox's Melissa Frances reported on The Kelly File that Al Sharpton not only hosts an MSNBC show, but that:

<><> MSNBC Corporate finances Sharpton's Ntl Action Network (NAN);

<><>Comcast is also one of Sharpton's financial backers.

Lol. I recall Obama saying, "I won." Nice 'post partisan partnership.'

Will a White House delegation be sent to the funeral of these police officers?

There was a point in his first six months while a Senator where John McCain called up and tried to arrange a bi-partisan bill, which the two of them could sponsor. There was a flat-turn-down. As far as I can tell....there’s not a single episode ever....either at the US Senate or in Illinois...that he worked with a single Republican.

EXCERPT NYP EDITORIAL: Throughout Sharpton’s career, his causes have been attended by violence (and bald-faced lies in the Tawana Brawley case).......Sharpton remains stuck in a narrative where New York is 1960s Alabama and all of the cops are Bull Connors.

de Blasio treats him as though he were the second coming of Martin Luther King, Jr. Likewise Obama...who has had him to the White House 81 times, where he is welcomed as a civil-rights leader.

And when a Sony exec makes some racially insensitive remarks, it’s the Rev. Al she ends up apologizing to.

When you run against the cops, you can’t keep on good relations with the cops. That is why you should never ever vote for a Mayor who is running against the cops.

Right before he rammed through the Stimulus and Obamacare without a single Republican vote.

“In Obama’s case, it was a failure to recognize the threat posed to him by Republicans who didn’t buy into his calls for a post-partisan partnership with Congress.”

“Just over a year after sailing into office with 72 percent of the vote (de Blasio)...”

“According to a former de Blasio aide, during the general election campaign in 2013, de Blasio’s team was even convinced that members of his police detail were eavesdropping on his private conversations in his city-assigned car.”

I think he is like Hitler who won a majority of the vote - but was paranoid of his opposition and set forth stringent policies to counter a non-existent element...that ended in ruin for the German people...I wonder if the same is happening here...even though this piece is about trying to make excuses for de Blasio...

Let us hope not. Any such delegation should be refused entry, or ejected once inside. They are vermin, down to the last one of them.

Inasmuch as the article is kinda slanty and thereby as enjoyable as fresh, steamy dog crap in yer waffle boot treads, the comments are not only blowing up, they are proving to be quite tasty, indeed! I wish this one was mine, it echoes my sentiments exactly:
"Just one point on your post, their positions of influence. We usually think of a crook like Eric Holder as an example of power gone bad but miss the real terror amongst us, the fact that all of American Government from the local to national has been infiltrated. Infiltrated by leftists, liberals, socialists, Marxists, and democrat party machine lackeys. Even in states that have elected republican governors and elected cabinet positions, the democrats wait, much like a coiled snake hidden in a dark corner for their chance to effect laws or the administration of them. And they don't need a Republican to be elected mayor, governor or president. They have co-opted government at every level simply because republicans and or conservatives do not take care of who is given a government position. And those that obtain those positions are almost required to support Marxist causes by donating large sums of money. This is why force is the only way to root out what appears to be the worst problem modern America faces. Of course we have similar problems with the media and education. Especially in education where they are really running wild."--josephx

What a load of BS. After the 2008 election, Obama brought in the GOP leaders and reminded them that he won and he was the only thing between the Republicans and the pitchforks. He then shut the GOP out of any debate about Obamacare.

De Blasio was clearly pained and jarred by the police executions Saturday, but he left the indignation to Bratton. The angriest moment de Blasio has mustered since the weekend was on Monday, and it was directed at the press.

“What are you guys going to do?” he asked, his voice rising, as he accused reporters of amplifying the few bad actors among the protestors. “Are you going to keep dividing us?”

The last 2 paragraphs are rich. The heat is getting to him.

I suggest however pained and jarred he was over the slaughter of two officers, he was seething with anger when he saw NYPD turn their backs on him. IIRC, his presser Sat night was delayed because of what was going on behind the scenes. Oh, to be a fly on the wall. I am interested in how this will play out.

Maybe he can take a page from al's playbook and play his voice mail messages to show the world he is getting messages from meanies. That will make us feel sorry for him.......NOT.

This situation was created by liberals from Obama/Holder to Sharpton and De Blasio.

These were the racists who rushed to judgment before facts were known.

These were the racists who fed and fostered the LIES fabricated around every racial incident.

These were the racists who have a responsibility for the murder of these police officers.

Every mass shooting results in fingers being pointed at the Tea Party, Republicans and firearm owners by this crowd.

Now, they want to say this was the actions of one lone, deranged criminal.

Sorry, you hypocritical, lying racists.....its time to eat your peas.

Check out this comment on the Politico page from “aaa1960”:

If the black community wants the rest of the world to treat them with respect and as the hashtag# going around black lives matter maybe the black community should.

1. Stop making criminals and thugs their poster child

2. Stop trying to tell America that these are innocent boys that are good boys and wouldn’t hurt anyone... as America watches them on video robbing a store and choke holding the store clerk

3. Get rid of The Obama, Holder, Sharpton and Jesse as leaders that claim you are helpless victims. They are not helping you... At all... As a matter of fact they are killing your cause...

4. Find yourself a leader that believes in self esteem, education and your own ability to better yourself.

5. Stop killing each other without impunity and with no regards to respect amongst yourselves. If you cannot respect yourselves how do you expect the rest of the world to.

6. This is the hardest, the black community are part of the problem and until the media and your leaders begin to report and talk about the whole problem and not just the “I’m a victim and it is all white peoples fault” Nothing is going to change...

Ever.
