Jeb Bush can win it all
CNN ^ | December 22, 2014 | Julian E. Zelizer

Ever since "Bridge-gate" threatened to derail the once "inevitable" nomination of New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie as the Republican presidential candidate for 2016, Jeb Bush has been hinting that he might jump into the fray.

And with last week's Facebook announcement, the former Florida governor has emerged as a serious contender -- if he chooses to run.

The announcement of an exploratory committee has generated instant excitement because many Republicans feel that the former governor stands a very real chance of winning both the Republican nomination and the general election. Though the pundits have pored over all of his liabilities, most importantly the damage that his younger brother inflicted on the family name, Jeb Bush brings a lot to the table for 2016.

If he handles this process the right way, Bush has the opportunity to put together a strong campaign. Democrats and his Republican opponents should be worried.

Us intellectuals and newsers are puffing the Rino cause he's our boy ... not as good as a full-blown leftist like the World's Smartest Woman or Fauxahontis ... but infinitely better than right wing radicals like Cruz and Palin!

The Left is trying to promote the next designated RINO fall guy as the Republican nominee destined to lose to the ‘RAT nominee.

I still say the winning ticket will/would be:

Jeb Bush - Hillary Clinton as Republican nominees.
or
Hillary Clinton - Jeb Bush as Democrat Nominees.

Absolutely correct.

They don’t want Jeb to be president; just the GOP nominee so they can trounce him in the general election, as they well know that no conservatives will vote for him, let alone walk on their knees over broken glass to do so.

They FEAR a charismatic conservative more than any other. They still have scars on their liberal asses where Ronald Reagan bit them.

Who is our Reagan? We need to get behind ONE name.

If it's hillary vs jeb, the establishment wins. With the things that are polarizing the US now, it would be almost impossible for those who are sick of the puppetmasters destroying the US to put aside differences and have a candidate from outside mainstream control get on either ballot.

jeb vs hillary? God help us.

If Jeb was truly serious about running and truly wanted to win, he would take a long hard look at why a huge section of the GOP don't like his ideas about education and illegal immigration.

It would be much easier to try and figure that out than to run in a way in which he is seen trying to cram very unpopular ideas down our throats and then lose the election.

Hey, Jeb. Stop listening to the loser Romney and ask us why we will not vote for you.

‘McCain can win all those moderates’

Leftists know one thing for sure....how to pick Republican losers. He’ll probably be the nominee and we’ll have another Democrat president. A few years after that we’ll have a Democrat House and Senate. Of course, that’s assuming the country exists then.

Another presidential preference push piece.

We will see a million such articles in the coming months. We have already has such push pieces pushing Huckabee, Santorum, Romney Redux, Jeb Bush, Christie, Carson, et. al.

It is going to seem like a loooooooooooooong election cycle, considering that it started at midnight November 7, 2012.

The leftist media wonks are so transparent. They think Republicans are so stupid that they will take strategic advice from their sworn enemies.

And for the umpteenth time, the Republicans will probably do it, because they are that stupid.

I’m a victim of Mitch McConnell. Which means I’m done with the Republican Party. Fini. Finished. Done. Through. Terminated.

Whoever runs against obammy will get my vote!

Whoever is the Republican nominee will get my vote.

I can’t see any other choice. I think I might even vote a straight pubbie ticket for the first time…...

I’m a huge admirer of Mr. Cruz-—I would vote for him in a heartbeat. I might even get off my duff and work for his campaign.
