Wear blue to support cops

For months, ever since the death of Michael Brown in Ferguson, MO, the left has been rampaging against the police. They implicitly (and sometimes explicitly) urged violence, and maintained systemic police racism was the cause of disproportionate numbers of young black males arrested and convicted of crimes.

The rest of us mostly remained silent as the men and women who wear blue as they protect us from the criminals who live among us were vilified. Now, two of them have been assassinated, and it is time to be silent no more. As a first step, wear something blue today. If you live in New York City or anywhere nearby, stand ready to travel to the funeral of Officers Ramos and Liu. Stand by for further demonstrations. It is important that the silent majority be silent no more.

Many of the young anti-police demonstrators have no memory of New York City before Mayor Giuliani tamed crime with “broken windows” policing, treating small crime as a precursor to major crime. I do, and it was hideous. Now, under Mayor de Blasio, those days threaten to return....

good idea, but we should also do the following:

whenever a liberal starts ranting (er. .protesting) in public, the nearest conservative should take the time to tear libs argument to shreds.

impromptu debates so to speak.

looks like blue with black stripes is the most common awareness ribbon for supporting cops. Still, I’d like to see something a bit more unique so there can be no mistake, like blue with copper stripes.

Blue armband?

It'll match nicely with the brown shirt…

No, don’t wear blue, and don’t wear can’t breathe shirts either.
The Feds want the public to take sides and start a war between the public and police, black vs white, rich vs poor, man vs women. While we are all fighting amongst each other, the Feds will have a mandate for more control.
Don’t fall for the statist trap.

Today, when I went shopping, I experienced some very unsettling resentment towards blacks. I always give a smile to anyone I might make eye contact with, regardless of who they are. Today, I felt anger and thought screw it, so the few occasions where I could have smiled, I just couldn’t........I looked away.

Interesting. I've noticed some very unsettling resentment on the part of blacks since Obama was elected.

I simply don’t care anymore...they drew a line now so I’m going to honor that and ignore them...

There is no outcry from their community to stop this nonesense so as far as I’m concerned they’ve laid their own bed...now slepp in it..I just don’t care.

We remember our deployed military on “red shirt friday” every friday, so we could do a red, white, and blue friday. Red for military, white for the innocent unborn, and blue for police.

Cops are called "the thin blue line." This shirt makes a subtle reference to the thin blue line. The website seems to offer a lot of pro-cop, pro-military shirts. Brotherhood of the Thin Blue Line I believe I will order one of these.

Nice idea. I can visualize that blue stripe also used on U.S. flag lapel pins.
