Looks like the "Guardians of Peace" scored another victory ... Sony quietly gave in to another hacker demand by wiping almost all traces of "The Interview" from its social media pages.
Hackers threatened top level Sony execs Friday saying, "We want everything related to the movie, including its trailers, as well as its full version down from any website hosting them immediately."
The movie studio almost immediately obliged ... the movie's Twitter page no longer has any tweets, the Facebook page has been deleted and all "Interview" footage has been wiped from its YouTube page.

You know the movie is going to be leaked online for sure now. You know it’s coming...
Considering the subject of the movie, I wonder if it’s actually the Administration acting to prevent people from getting ideas.
This will definitely make The Interview the hottest property for movie pirates.
However, the “hackers” demanding this are obviously as ignorant as to how the Internet works as some Hollywood starlet demanding a take down of all her naughty photos “from the Internet”.
So, computer hacking savvy, but not Internet savvy. This would either implicate the NorKs, or some Hollywood type ordering hackers around, who know better but are inclined to just follow orders.
Seems to be a good time to be in Cyber Security...
Forget going to college and getting stupid degrees in Humanities and other wasteful areas...IT Security is big business now!!!
Cyber Security
Digital Forensics Investigation
Network Security
If someone coming out of HS wants to get into this world without the stress of programming - they should seek a hybrid degree in both Intelligence and Cyber Security...large salaries and it’s not going anywhere but up!
Example: Intelligence Studies with a concentration in Cyber
The military/federal govt is scrambling right now to get contractors in to these positions! So will corporations!
Remember when movies used to run the advert “This movie is so frightening, no one will be allowed in after the movie starts”.
Same gimmick.
Please help me remember, what did Obama do “when there were riots” in Cairo and Benghazi about a minor film?
IIRC he went on a fund raiser to the West Coast and left the Americans in Benghazi to be murdered and defiled. And now the Kenyan American tells Sony they should have checked with him first before pulling the film?
The mf ABCBSNBCNN news Consortium constantly lets the mf Obama get away with his mf lying without shaming him!
The Peoples Republic of Korea must have some really juicy and non-PC information on the Sony executives for them to scrape, crawl and abase themselves like this.
My daughter watched it last night. I haven’t talked to her, though, so I don’t know what she thought of it.
You can never give in to blackmail; the blackmailers will always come back.
You are correct, I believe. The tidbits will be released eventually.
Will they try to ban these FR articles, I wonder?
It really depends on whos “OX” is being gored, doesn’t it. I remember when there was a movie about “CHRIST IN THE DESERT” and HIS encounter with the devil. The actor that was hired was the spitting image of OBAMA. And every LIBERAL, SOCIALIST and COMMUNIST had a complete uproar. And that movie was immediately taken out. Now, the “CHICKENS HAVE COME HOME TO ROOST” as OBAMA’S last pastor used to say. These LIBERAL, SOCIALISTS and COMMUNISTS are getting a dose of their own medicine, and they don’t like it one bit
“Looks like the “Guardians of Peace” scored another victory ...”
Why would the GOP have a beef against Sony?

Norks are probably tracking her IP address and traffic to determine the source as we speak...

It’s interesting.
I’ve seen FR comments that the Norks aren’t at all capable of this, and others (Lazmataz) where he was able to detect them probing his firewall.
Didn’t watch it at home :)
Trust me it can be done and they dont even have to be high level black hat hackers. If you can get just their IP address it opens all kinds of doors. If you have the right software (network traffic monitors) you can see what IP addresses are pinging you. It doesn’t mean it will tell you who they are without doing some research. The Feds and hackers usually use proxy servers that they bounce off to try and fool you or cloak their true IP address...They could make it look like the Norks were pinging you if they bounce off a server in NK. A lot more that could be said but it’s boring technocrap
