Idris Elba Could Be Next James Bond According To Leaked E-Mails December 20, 2014
British actor Idris Elba could be the first black James Bond, according to more leaked e-mails from Sony Pictures.
“Idris should be the next Bond,” Sony Pictures chief Amy Pascal wrote nearly a year ago in an e-mail to Elizabeth Cantillon, a former executive vice president at Columbia Pictures.
The leaked e-mail, reported by the Daily Beast, is from a trove of private e-mails, salary reports and bits of script and rough footage swiped and released by hackers believed to be from North Korea.

The guy is named after the island of Elba, to which Napoleon was exiled.
Elba is a terrific actor, and I didn’t even know he was British until recently. His role as a preacher in “The Gospel” was very accurate and moving.
So, what the hell is an “Idris Elba”?
Black British actor. Starred in "Thor", Prometheus", "Ghost Rider - Spirit".
I had never heard of this guy until I saw him doing a show about cars.
He seemed very personable. No hidden agenda like a lot of actors.
It will be attacked as racist. Bond lives off the government, is uberviolent, sexes every woman he meets and the ladies end up worse off for it, sometimes even dead.
The only good thing about Prometheus was when it was over.
I will be done with 007 films if that’s the case. Not b/c of racism, but b/c it is clearly caving to the same BS PC crap that gave us a black “Annie”...
