He was not a scum bag. Find the story.
He did not hear the cop. He had ear buds in. He was reachung for his wallet and did not know the cop was there.
How do you know that? On the video who says “No, fool? Not being a smart ass, legitimate questions.
Where can you find the testimony?
Plus, the article I saw that in got the sequence of events wrong.
I didn't say he was a scumbag.I was just making a general point...that point being that just as surely as there are black and brown scumbags in this country there are also white scumbags.
IRRC this was a case in which a robbery (or some other incident) had occurred in,or near,a convenience store...the cops responded...a white kid was spotted,told to put his hands up by a cop and,because he was wearing headphones,he didn't hear the command and thus failed to comply.And then things went from bad to worse.
If this is what happened then this kid may have been the victim of a tragic series of occurrences rather than having gotten what he deserved (Trayvon...Gentle Giant) or having been the victim of police misconduct.
This appears to be what happened.
Of course, the cop told the kid's BACK to put his hands up. When the kid started turning to face the yelling cop, he fished around his beltline, and got shot 3-4 seconds after he started turning.
BTW - the kid had been drinking, and was at 0.18 BAC. They trot you off to the pokey at 0.08 BAC, and your motor skills supposedly start deteriorating after 0.08 BAC...
All in all, the kid had 20 seconds to live once the cop showed up, and the cop had to run around a couple of cars to catch up with him, because he was bebopping away from the policeman.
The DA is scum.
