Oprah on Sony email conversations [The RANKEST of Hypocrisy Alert!]
kcci.com ^ | 12/15/14

Oprah Winfrey says she wishes people wouldn't rush to judge private conversations between Sony executives that were revealed in a recent hack.

I would hope that we would not stand in judgement--in such harsh judgement--of a moment in time where somebody was hacked and their private conversations were put before the world.

Because if we were to look at your computer and everybody else's computer...I try to write everything as though it's going to show up in the New York Times. But there are things that you say in your private conversations with your friends and your colleagues that you would not want to be broadcast on CNN.

I guess Oprah has your back, Donald.

Full disclosure: I have no sympathy for the racism expressed by Donald Sterling. I have plenty of sympathy for people’s privacy.

I’m just glad I’ve never said anything in private that I wouldn’t want splashed out in front of the world.

Donald’s conversation with his bimbo, if I remember correctly, was a private conversation that she recorded and released.

I have plenty of sympathy for people’s privacy.

The hackers are getting what they want with all of the "high fives" from those celebrating the release of the hacked information. It's so funny when it happens to someone else.

It's so funny when it happens to someone else.

That's only the small part of it.

The really big part is that the leaked emails are from people who have always lorded over us their 'righteousness' about race, treatment of others, and tolerance.

In a word, their Liberalness.

It's now been exposed for the lies we all knew, but couldn't prove.

I'm enjoying every word.

Gee, I wonder if she would be just as understanding if the remarks in those emails had been made by executives at Fox News?

What a coincidence. Oprah Winfrey has a new movie coming out on Christmas day — ‘’Selma’’ — which, although it was produced in part by Oprah’s production company, was financed by Pathe Productions, run by white people, and will be distributed by the white people who run Paramount Pictures.

So Oprah needs to defend white studio executives and remain in their good graces, no matter what offensive comments they may make about her black brothers and sisters, or she may have to finance and distribute her own movies in the future. And what a drag that would be for a simple everyday billionairess like Oprah — having to set up her own studio, her own distribution network. How would she fit that into her daily schedule of eating, making pronouncements to the world, and spa appointments?

Doesn't take a rocket scientist to guess there's some kind of business relationship between Sony and the "O".

I bet that's true of a bunch of additional A-A movie stars, which is why we haven't been hearing too much out of them.

And what would Orca say if the emails were from the Koch Brothers or Ted Cruz??

So you’d be comfortable with the world seeing everything you’ve ever written? Never a racist or sexist word from your keyboard right?

? What are you talking about?

I am saying the people right now all clamoring for PRIVACY are of the same class and ilk of people who were DELIGHTED to see someone else’s privacy invaded...Donald Sterling, Newt Gingrich, Rush Limbaugh...just to name a few.

I have no idea where you got the idea I approved of the invasion of privacy—either from this thread or my long posting history on Free Republic.

Oprah has said plenty of racist things about whites in her time. She doesn’t have a leg to stand on in judging whites.

You posted your condemnation of Donald Sterling in a self righteous manner while sticking up for him. Yeah, I got that.
