Redistributing wealth from wealthy/middle class to the poor always causes a temporary boost in sales because the poor rarely ever think to pay of debts or put money in savings. So yes their would be growth, but it would only be for a few months and then things would get considerably worse because the other two groups just got poorer.

I have always maintained that if you took all of the wealth from the “haves” and gave it to the “have nots” .... that in about 15 years it would all be back where it started and our country would have sold a truck load of tennis shoes and televisions.

It’s called the destruction of wealth for a reason.

What you just stated is why.

Then who invests, starts new businesses, employs more people?

Just another way to shovel more dirt on the casket of the U. s.
