Over the last several months, former Florida Governor Jeb Bush has been giving speeches, campaigning for candidates, appearing at public forums, and meeting with wealthy donors, which has led many people to believe that he may soon enter the race to become the next Republican presidential nominee. On Dec. 1, Bush told a gathering of business leaders at the Four Seasons Hotel in Washington that he would make a decision about his political future in short order. But Bushs recent business ventures reveal that he shares a number of liabilities with the last nominee, Mitt Romney, whose career in private equity proved so politically damaging that it sunk his candidacy.
Documents filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on Nov. 27 list Bush as chairman and manager of a new offshore private equity fund, BH Global Aviation, which raised $61 million in September, largely from foreign investors. In November the fund incorporated in the United Kingdom and Walesa structure, several independent finance lawyers say, that operates like a tax haven by allowing overseas investors to avoid U.S. taxes and regulations.

Wrong. Jeb has a Jeb problem.
Jeb Bush has a “there is no way in Cowboy Hell I am going to do this three times in a row” problem.
Last month was my last best gasp at trying to keep the Democrats from winning. Republican performance even in this month-plus period has not been encouraging.
I won’t even deign to step out the door to go vote in 2016 if this amnesty appeasing, privileged disconnected person is on the ticket. I just won’t.
No, he has a Bush problem. Get out da bushes.
This is pure BS.
There is nothing wrong with Bush or Romney investing overseas.
High US tax rates drive businesses and investment overseas.
The problem is our insanely high, complex, and counterproductive tax code.
The fellow travelers in the MSM constantly write stories like this and about the evil “Koch Bros” to try and distract from the FACTS that most ultra-wealthy are regime supporters.
I couldn’t care less about his investments, if he can’t influence their performance through government control at his hand.
What I vehemently object to is the thought of a man, politician and elite who believes that his experience with ‘diversity’ makes him qualified to transcend it to taking away the sovereignty of my country.
Conservatives have a Jeb Bush/Mitt Romney problem.
All true. And democraps also invest overseas— quite a lot.
They seem to get away with it. So the thing to do is ID which democraps... trying for office or actually in office are invested in what funds overseas, or officers of the same. That info is available.
The purpose of this article is opposition publication by dems, to “tut-tut” over the position and the investment. The pot calling the kettle black.
But, if allowed to be broadcast by the supplicant lib media— this would brand Jeb just like Romney. The conservatives need to expose just who dems have in the same role. Like the former Treasury secretary Rubin. Like Soros, like Buffett (who holds up the pipeline so his trains can rake in ridiculous shipping charges even as he has subsidies for rail company), and many many others... like John Kerry who is more foreign than US national in his “holdings” . Like Al Gore the prince of Goldman Sachs and global warming carbon credits commodity exchange. et cetera.
Jeb as the nominee will encourage me to explore the rich TV entertainment options available from my comfortable sofa on Election Day 2016.
I don’t like Jeb-but you’re right.
Also, if a Liberal had any kind of financial ‘irregularities’ in HIS background... the MSM would work overtime hiding then white washing the issue.
We all have a Mitt Romney problem. If that fantastically wealthy, self-funding doofus doesn’t stop messing up GOP presidential campaigns, we might as well give up. Will he ever go away?
That said, it really doesn’t matter where he invests his money, or where the Bushes invest theirs, either. At least it’s not going for buying influence, which is where Dems “invest” their money.

Maybe not. But to every struggling American, this kind of story shows Jeb to be just another politico elite. This on top of all the other reasons to avoid him like the plague.
Hillary and Chels are getting the “2 for 1” special at the cosmetic surgery center.
Terrible, Bengazi should be a lead weight on her aspirations, not a badge of honor.
No way America will vote for another Bush.
With Obama’s constant mess, it’s looking good for the GOP in 2016. But another Bush as candidate will give a win easily to the Demo’s.
