France's upper house of parliament on Thursday urged the government to recognize "the state of Palestine", following a similar and highly symbolic vote in the lower house.
The Senate resolution, calling for French recognition of" Palestine" and an "immediate restarting" of peace talks between the Palestinian Authority and Israel, passed narrowly, with 153 votes in favor and 146 against.
The vote came as European countries seek to restart the stalled Middle East process and followed an unopposed motion in the Irish parliament to recognize "Palestine" - the fourth assembly in Europe to do so.
Lawmakers in Britain and Spain have already passed similar motions and Sweden has gone even further, officially recognizing "Palestine" as a state, in a move that prompted Israel to recall its ambassador.
Earlier this month, French MPs voted 339 to 151 in favor of a motion urging the government to recognize the "state of Palestine" as a way of achieving a "definitive resolution of the conflict."

This is not an insignificant action. It reflects changes in political attitudes that are partly due to demographic changes, a woeful ignorance of history in general, and the Holocaust in particular. Support and sympathy for Israel is lessening in the EU and even the US. Remember this is France. Thirty years ago, mindful of their Vichy legacy and the shameful participation of many French in the deportations and killings, such a vote would be unthinkable. However these current French legislators have no direct memory or even a good historical knowledge of the past.

If they wanted one, they would have had it around 1995, 2 years after Oslo.

Due to the fact that the 3 letter PLO never REALLY was converted to the 2 letter PA (Palestinian Authority), they remained, alas, murderous scum. They were paid Billions of Dollars to make that 3 to 2 letter change, but they never did. They remain, the MODERATE? PLO.
Why in the world would the world want to establish ANOTHER FAILED NATION STATE RUN BY MUSLIMS, always in civil war (HAMAS vs. FATAH) for any reason bedsides to slowly kill Israel? Look at the Middle East, then look at the Arab Spring, then ask yourself, why would all these countries now begin recognizing something that does not exist? Hint: Kill the Jews..yup!

bill clinton sent carville to Israel in the 1990s to get Ehud Barak elected over Netanyahu, this was done for the express purpose of getting a more compliant leader seated and to sign an agreement dividing up the land with arafat. Using Barak, he tried to give the Palestinians %95 of all that they wanted, but instead arafat rejected it because it wasnt %100.

In the future we’ll see more and more of this and finally there will be an all out push for all nations, including Israel being in agreement with this world, to recognize Palestine and divide the land.
God restored Israel in 1948 and then restored Jerusalem (Judea and Samaria) in 1967 and we know from scripture that at some point this world will undo that restoration work for some supposed ‘peace’ agreement,
Isaiah 28 calls it a ‘covenant with death’
At the time of the end, we’re told that Jerusalem will become a ‘burdensome stone’ bringing destruction ‘upon them all’ that is, upon all nations that choose to involve themselves with this restoration work,
Satan has authority on this physical Earth until the time of the end, and (I believe) until three conditions are met and broken:
1, Israel as a people are restored to the land and then Jerusalem as a city is restored, (which appears to be with the same distance in timing, 19 years apart, as they were taken away from Israel in 606 and 587 BC with the sieges of Nebuchadnezzar) together providing the two conditions required in Daniel Chapter 9 to count the time determined at 70 weeks, the 490 years. 434 years were counted at the cross, ‘after 62 weeks shall Messiah be cutoff’ 49 years were accepted by Jesus but rejected by Israel and instead brought the Gospel to the gentiles, the Gospel is the Jubilee, and thus allowing for another 49 years (a Jubilee) for Israel and Jerusalem, the promises are tied to the physical land as well as to David, and then the final seven years remaining which most of us are aware of called the tribulation with the last half (3.5 years) being what Jesus himself called the ‘great tribulation’
2, a Jubilee is acknowledged in Heaven following the legal conditions being met precisely per Leviticus Chapter 25: “when you come into the land that I shall give you..” then count seven times seven years (49 years) and only God can know when this is acceptable, but it must occur on a future Yom Kippur (10th day of the seventh month) after these specific conditions have been met,
3, The covenant is broken, hindered, encumbered in some manner between this world and a restored Israel via some manner of agreement, this is what I believe we’re witnessing today as being pushed for with Sweden and now France and with the UN vote in 2012, that is, Israel is divided, Jerusalem is divided or both, the restoration is being undone, Satan is seeking to change the set times and seasons provided by God, to extend his ownership outside of the limiting Holy mechanisms of the Laws and Ordinances enacted on the Earth, the very ones which provided for the coming of the Messiah to this fallen Earth to redeem us with, and also provided the punitive measures enacted against the transgressors of the Law (Israel of 32 AD) and then finally bringing the second restoration here since June 7th 1967, these are all interconnected events despite being thousands of years separated in time, this is why it will mean the end of Satan’s authority if he does not hinder or stop this prophesied process from coming to the full.
It is my belief, that it is the attempted undoing of that authority on the Earth, the breaking of the ‘Everlasting Covenant’ (Isaiah Chapter 24) that brings the time of the end, I believe this is the very event that is being adjudicated in Heaven beginning in Revelation Chapter 4, where the “court will sit” (see Daniel Chapter 7) and where Jesus takes the scroll, the title deed to the Earth from the right hand of the Father. He assumes legal ownership over the physical Earth (all of Creation)
Today Jesus sits at the right had side of the father, until he makes the nations of this world his footstool.

When the day comes, and it is coming, when Israel will have leaders that surrender their sovereignty, (how hard is it to imagine a self styled ‘smart power’ duo of hillary and tzipi embracing each other as they sign on the dotted line with abbas, with cheers and parade banners flying and ‘peace in our time’ signs waving gloriously in the background)
It will be bad for Israel and bad for any nation with an influential hand it it, and bad for the entire world. I think what follows will happen quickly, it will come very fast,
When I think about how this evil administration has been doing anything it likes to America, with congress kneeling prostrate as if before some golden idol, allowing this spirit to trample on our constitutional rights and usurp unhindered and increasing its authority at every opportunity, I think to myself, we elected this monster not once but twice. We willingly chose this, we wanted Saul and now we have him.
Then I wonder, should this same beast operating here, now attempt this same trampling and coercion and performing every deception and deceit and lying wonder to fulfill its desires for more authority, should it now attempt this same evil upon Israel. Then what will become of us as a nation, and how soon will it come,
