Senate Torture Report Condemns C.I.A. Interrogation Program

The long-delayed report, which took five years to produce and is based on more than six million internal agency documents, is a sweeping indictment of the C.I.A.'s operation and oversight of a program carried out by agency officials and contractors in secret prisons around the world in the years after the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. It also provides a macabre accounting of some of the grisliest techniques that the C.I.A. used to torture and imprison terrorism suspects.
Detainees were deprived of sleep for as long as a week, and were sometimes told that they would be killed while in American custody.

I think the goal of the leadership of the Democrat Party is to DESTROY the power and reputation of the United States...economically, socially, spiritually.

Obama and the dems are using this as leverage in their larger goal, the shutting down of Gitmo and the release of all prisoners. They will measure their success by the amount of death and damage Americans suffer as a result of their actions.

One clandestine officer described the prison as a “dungeon,” and another said that some prisoners there “literally looked like a dog that had been kenneled.”
I’m sorry, but I didn’t realize that when you took your dog to a kennel they were undergoing torture and were miserable.

Let's assume you're right... (and I believe you ARE right) who benefits?
I am almost positive, after 9 deployments in Iraq and Afghanistan, that we did not behead anyone. We did not dehand anyone (ala Saddam), we did not rape their family members in front of them (why would we want to), we did not stretch their necks on cranes (ala Iran), did not break bones, dislocate limbs or any of a hundred other things our enemies do.
We scared them and made them feel bad. Real torture for the limp wrist Democrats who haven’t got a clue about what really happens outside of their little reservation.
Because the Waterboard works. That's what the American Left does not want the American people to know. It's one of those tidbits of knowledge they want to keep from us for our own good.

McCain is on the floor right now defending the release of the report and claiming that waterboarding did nothing to help us fight the war on terror- his testimony alone will cement the left’s desire to destroy this nation and put our military at greater risk- Thanks McCain for once again proving you are not a republican!
Now John McCain has gone to the floor of the Senate to speak....in agreement with the treasonous Demon Rats.
Please, Arizona, next election cycle replace McCain with a Constitutionalist.
If you think the Waterboard is not "real torture", you are sorely misinformed.
That said, I support it's use on foreign enemies who are out of uniform, but not captured, uniformed soldiers.

Um- the left does as they pilfer trillions of dollars from we the people in the name of global climate change mandates, fines and taxes, while they control what religious organizations can and can’t preach and practice, while they force religious groups to comply with their socialist mandates- while the military pulls out from the world so that it is here at home ready for any uprisings against big government- on and on it does- The left no longer want this country to be involved in world affairs so that it can concentrate on stealing what’s left of it’s citizen’s money through heavy handed regulations etc-
