During a debate on HBO’s Real Time last October, host Bill Maher declared that Islam is “the only religion that acts like the mafia, that will f***ing kill you if you say the wrong thing, draw the wrong picture, or write the wrong book.”

To be fair, Islam is the only religion acting this way today. Much more common in the past.
Also there are lots of cults that are mafia-like, notably Scientology. And quite a few in Africa.
But remember Islam gets bigtime attention and in a special way because of the internet.
They both report up to the financial elites.
The Bonesmen leaders of the OSS/CIA have a long history of working with the mafia and terror groups.
The mafia was spawned by Mohammadism when the Mohammadans overran that island.
If I were in charge of counterterrorism, I’d cut some deals with the Tony Soprano-types to look the other way at some of their prostitution and racketeering in exchange for quietly disposing of sleeper cells for us.
Yep, in regards to the history of Sicily and southernmost Italy.
