The EU is turning to African dictators to help counter a multitude of threats as it steps up efforts to tighten border controls and renew counterterrorism initiatives.
Dimitris Avramopoulos, the commissions top man on migration and home affairs, told reporters last week following a two-day marathon meeting of EU justice and home affairs meetings in Brussels that we are confronted with increasing pressures at our external borders and inside the European Union.
Discussions included the issues surrounding the threat of foreign fighters returning to Europe after fighting for IS, getting the European parliament to sign off controversial data sharing agreements, border surveillance, and migration.

You gotta be kidding. This would require the dictators to actually care about the people. All they care about is enriching themselves at the expense of the people.

I spent a few weeks in Italy 20 years ago. Found the African sidewalk vendors rather scary, but not overtly so. Friend was just there last month, found Italy filthy and overrun with really scary Africans. She said it was more frightening than Egypt, which wasn’t especially scary. Just overrun with Egyptians.
Big population increases going on in the 3rd world. Huge problem for all of us.
If the Europeans pay these murderous tyrants-kleptomaniacs enough they will make it difficult for their subjects to leave for Europe
They’ll do pretty much anything except make the country a better place to live.
