Hoping they’re under the command of Gen. James Matoon Scott.

I viewed this as recon type effort More of an area familiarization flight. LA isn't a typical operating area for the boys from Mirimar.

Oh that’s right.
That like tens of millions entering the U.S. illegally for decades, causing epic crime, corruption, chaos and undermining our entire system, is not an invasion, but merely people coming here for the better life.

Is the Osprey still flight worthy? As much as it ever was, it seems...

Yeah, but don’t worry. Yikes.

.......and, make no mistake, Marines WILL follow orders!
LOL, maybe they are going to take LA County back from LaRaza.

With Ospreys though?
To: jsanders2001
Yes, they have used Ospreys before in the MEU(SOC)s, when they went IOC in 2007.
And why does that matter? It's faster and has longer legs than a CH-53; but the mission profile for SOC-requalification doesn't appreciably change.

Marines have been doing this for about 20 years. There is nothing to see here. With Ospreys though? Haven't had them on the West coast for 20 years. They managed with 46's and 53's.

No it isn’t their typical operating area. YET.
I have no idea what this scumbag president has up his sleeve, but he has at least two more years to perfect it.

The flyovers are probably a part of the response for the urban training op they are going to do. If you are worried about it in the future, this is a process they will repeat prior to coming.
