House Republicans, coming up with every excuse under the sun to avoid stopping President Obama, are letting slip the real reason.
Congressman Rep. Pete Sessions (R-TX)69%69%, chairman of the House Rules Committee, is telling Democratic lawmakers he wants total amnesty.
The Daily Caller reports Sessions met with Democratic lawmakers telling them how expansive his vision of immigration is before Rep. John Boehner (R-OH)N/AN/A announced the GOP would give up the fight on immigration.
More details are here. It is more and more obvious the only way the GOP will stop Obama is if House conservatives hold the line and oppose both the rule on the continuing resolution and the continuing resolution itself.

Another misquote helpfully provided by a Democrat to try to whip up discord among us patriots.
The video shows Sessions did NOT say he favors “...Amnesty...”.
He DID say we should continue to “...deport criminals...”, a process which Obama has slowed down.
So let’s not be in a rush to believe lies about our allies.
Besides, if we don’t “convert” enough Congressional Democrats to impeach Obama before 2017, he can protect his precious illegal “Executive Order” until he leaves office — no matter what Sessions says or does.

I'm sure the GOP Mandarins and their Chamber of Commerce handlers would be happy with all the cheap labor and potential voters. It will also help cement their bona fides with their Friends Across The Aisle. I'm sure there are enough jobs and free welfare money to go around for whomever wants it.

The House GOP already had it’s leadership vote, Boehner was reelected the GOP nominee for Speaker without opposition.

Um it came from Erick Erickson on Redstate-he wrote that Gowdy doesn’t really want to support conservatives on Immigration, now that he’s “got them in his pocket” over Benghazi.
