Amnesty shocker! The secret behind Obama's 'order' (There were no executive orders)
WND ^ | 12/3/2014 | Jerome Corsi

Posted on 12/04/2014 1:11:29 PM PST by RightGeek

Did President Obama just set up Department of Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson to be a candidate for impeachment [snip]?

The inquiry begins with the question: Where are the executive orders Obama supposedly signed to permit up to 5 million parents of young illegal aliens to remain in the United States for three years?

[Snip]

The White House appears to have engaged in administrative sleight of hand, changing U.S. immigration law not by executive order but by a memorandum “exercising prosecutorial discretion” Johnson signed the day of Obama’s Nov. 20 nationwide address that so far has not been filed in the Federal Register.

[Snip]

The White House drew attention to President Obama’s trip to Las Vegas Nov. 21, where he was expected to sign two executive orders that would revise his Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, or DACA. But a close examination of the executive actions Obama actually signed shows they had nothing to do with implementing the move he announced in his Nov. 20 White House address to the nation.

[snip]

According to the White House website, on Nov. 21 Obama signed a presidential proclamation titled “Creating Welcoming Communities Fully Integrating Immigrants and Refugees” and a presidential memorandum titled “Modernizing and Streamlining the U.S. Immigration Visa System for the 21st Century.”

[Which just created two task forces]

The only Obama administration document relevant to altering DACA to accommodate the legislative changes announced in Obama’s address to the nation Nov. 21 is a DHS memorandum signed by DHS Secretary Johnson titled “Exercising Prosecutorial Discretion with Respect to Individuals Who Came to the United States as Children with Respect to Certain Individuals Who Are the Parents of U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents.”

IMO, he gave illegals a “Wishwich”.

That is, there is no EO, no actual change to the as he claimed he did the next day, his faggoty little paws aren’t on the inter-office memo prioritizing objectives (there will be nothing about policy in the memo).

Jeh Johnson’s signature will be on it and at some point Obama will throw him under the bus and claim “Various heads of cabinets and departments issue their priorities, which at times need to be adjusted or more tightly focused. I think Jeh is a good man and hope, maybe, he didn’t overstep his authority.

Uh, uhm...but, but we’ll have to see how this plays out after some internal review.

Although, I’m not real big on changing leadership, erh, ahem horses, par, par, particularly at a time when, really, I’m out of office in a few months and I’ll be just like you.

Well, except for Secret Service and few other. LOL”

“The fact of the matter is whoever wins the election, they’ll assemble an administration and they’ll set priorities.

Thank you, Thank you...a, and m.m.m Gotd Blezz America”

and yet it will be 100% effective.

Amazing that conservative intellectuals love to keep posting that there is no EO.

So what! His words and actions are enough. How many more millions will keep pouring and diluting once nice towns into barrios.

But hey, at least there was not an EO.

Obama can be held responsible. The executive branch is unitary. It is composed of one man, the President. Whatever goes on within the exec is his responsibility.

Yes, Johnson is guilty of a high crime, and so is El Presidente.

Question for today....Is Jeh Johnson brain damaged, or just look like one? He has half a name, does he have half a brain?

I want to know if Congressional Republicans were aware of this all along and never said anything. If they weren’t aware, why not.

The article brings up the issue of misappropriation of funds by Johnson to redirect money allocated for one purpose for another. There is no mention of Green a Cards, Social Security numbers or work permits in Obama’s memorandum and it would be illegal for Jeh Johnson to take any action in that direction.

Jeh is a nickname for Jehuda. I don’t know if he ever had the full name, but if my parents named me Jehuda, I’d be looking for a nickname, too.

Regulation changes take time. A comment period is required, and congress can review any regulatory changes.

The dems can't do it alone.

There is a dispute about using DACA fees to fund the required paperwork. Since the money isn't appropriated, the executive has decided they can use it however they want.

Some in congress disagree.

It gets deep quickly, which is why facts matter in this case.

I remember reading that Ted Cruz said that Congress should immediately pass a law forbidding money being spent to activate Obama’s immigration plans.

Now, I know why. What I don’t understand is why no one informed the public what we were dealing with. It is obvious that lawmakers knew. When I re read the article about the states’ law suit, I noticed that the law suit targets the agencies that will implement Obama’s plans, but I am not sure if the law suit can be brought before action is taken by those agencies.
