Did President Obama just set up Department of Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson to be a candidate for impeachment [snip]?
The inquiry begins with the question: Where are the executive orders Obama supposedly signed to permit up to 5 million parents of young illegal aliens to remain in the United States for three years?

But a close examination of the executive actions Obama actually signed shows they had nothing to do with implementing the move he announced in his Nov. 20 White House address to the nation.

According to the White House website, on Nov. 21 Obama signed a presidential proclamation titled “Creating Welcoming Communities Fully Integrating Immigrants and Refugees” and a presidential memorandum titled “Modernizing and Streamlining the U.S. Immigration Visa System for the 21st Century.”

The only Obama administration document relevant to altering DACA to accommodate the legislative changes announced in Obama’s address to the nation Nov. 21 is a DHS memorandum signed by DHS Secretary Johnson titled “Exercising Prosecutorial Discretion with Respect to Individuals Who Came to the United States as Children with Respect to Certain Individuals Who Are the Parents of U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents.”

No paper trail, no process for the Congress to ‘start’ a challenge or impeachment, etc. Nothing but words, no dates, nothing legal to boot.

That was the 1st thing I said would be the real outcome of his speech.
He did a complete head fake. The way sissies do when they know for a fact, they could never prevail if their Major Misdirection was really what they were going to do.
He purposely ran the constitution up the flag pole for Republicans to rally around and Democrats to shoot at.
Then, the next day, he made it sound, with verbal sleight of hand, as if he was actually doing exactly what he feigned doing.
However, he used some very assertive language that sure sounded like that is what he was doing and very adroit lying slipped in he was going to issue “Inter Office Memorandums” providing “Guidance” as to wbst their priorities ought to be.
Now, if we challenge him, he can stand up and say:

“Sorry. I don’t understand what the problem is here. You guys complaigned about process and I, as president and leader of the country, this administration and the various cabinets issued new guidelines, that provide direction, better direction, for departments that are stretched thin and short on resources, what a better and more pressing priority, blah, blah, blah”.
“Rope-a-Dope?”
After a legal trial and conviction, sure.
For some reason I am having a hard time understanding just what Obama did and what the implications of this action are. Can you explain it to me, so a soon- to-be old woman can understand? Thanks!
There is no document, with Obama’s signature on it, that shuts down deportation of illegals. Jeh Johnson submitted a rule change to the federal registry to temporarily cancel the law. Obama did not change the law. He lied. It was a trick. Jeh Johnson made the change.
Obama is attempting to flood the border. He made his speech with the Spanish TV stations (and FOX). He does not have to issue an E.O. Just overload the system. BTW, he did not come up with this idea himself, IMO.

Since Obama did not make the change via an EO, he cannot be held responsible for the unlawful act. Jeh Johnson is the guilty party. Johnson must be impeached.
Yep and Jeh gets to be the fall guy.

Like he said in the memorandums...he was just going to encourage the Department Heads to come up with their own (wink, wink) solutions (nod, nod).

He is acting to provoke the GOP. The giveaway moment in Obama’s address was when he told Republicans that “Americans are tired of gridlock” and urged them not to “let a disagreement over a single issue be a deal breaker on every issue. That’s not how our democracy works, and Congress certainly shouldn’t shut down our government again just because we disagree on this.”Obama's actions, or rather those of his Federal agencies and departments, will have the consequences noted by Rep. Bachmann and others if not nullified.That is exactly what Obama is hoping Republicans will do. His whole speech was a calculated effort to elicit a self-destructive response from the GOP. Obama wants Republicans to shut down the government. He wants them to introduce articles of impeachment. He wants them to rail against illegal immigrants — to declare, as Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) did, that his actions will result in “millions of unskilled, illiterate, foreign nationals coming into the United States who can’t speak the English language.” [Emphasis added.]
That’s music to Obama’s ears.
