On Social Media, Hillary and Cruz Lead the 2016 Pack

In the battle for Internet attention in the 2016 presidential race, two candidates stand head and shoulders above the others when it comes to social media — but that doesn't necessarily mean they are headed for a win.

In fact, on the Republican side, the Internet winner is far down the list of potential GOP candidates for 2016.

In the last 10 months, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, have been running neck-and-neck in attention on social media sites, Politico reports.

However, despite his Internet popularity, Cruz came in at ninth in a CNN November poll of overall GOP candidate rankings, while Clinton was well ahead in the polls with 65 percent favoring her as-yet-unannounced candidacy.

Politico, citing data provided by Facebook and Twitter, reported that Clinton and Cruz together garnered a full 40 percent of comments on Facebook and almost half, or 47 percent, of comments on Twitter, when comments on all 10 candidates mentioned as possible presidential contenders in the last three months were totaled.

I'm not a social media person but am aware that it was instrumental in getting Obola elected in 20088.

So good news for Cruz supporters thus far.

Difference between a GOPe-driven/leftist poll, and one that is actually taking the temperature of the electorate. In this case, the temperature is direct, by using actual social media usage as raw data.

To which I would ask the 65%......why?

I doubt I would get any answers that were not platitudes.

I believe that most telephone polling is done by land lines which are not a representative sampling anymore. They’re becoming obsolete.

Agreed and it fits the country best of all.

If our free republic is to be restored; Cruz/West would make the strongest foundation of leadership that will be required, a strong example and standard of leadership; with which to continually build upon for many generations to come.

You are absolutely correct! We need to start this meme right NOW! Eff the RINO establishment and media. Write your representative (if Republican) and tell him/her if you’re not onboard with this, you’re out! Call talk show hosts, inundate as much as possible!

Every constitution believing American should save as much $ as they can to give to Cruz because, I have this feeling that timing will be key to his success, that’s when he needs the money Bomb.

Well, that is my personal strategy anyway because I don’t have much of anything I can spare right now.
