What EO? Got a number?

EO is not in the actual title of the linked article.

0bola has *skirted* around the EO hot potato and has rebranded his unlawful measure as an *Executive ACTION*. (I noticed this new term being bandied about, in the mainstream, a day after the Vegas *signing*, of his non-EO.)
“Action” is parceltongue for “Order”.

See below.

From the article....

Incoming Senate Budget Committee chairman Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL) has discovered plans by President Barack Obama to open a new immigration facility to process his executive amnesty action in Northern Virginia, where the federal government has plans to hire a whopping 1,000 new immigration employees.

DO AS I SAY NOT AS I SAID Obama says he was "speaking colloquially" when "he said" he changed immigration law...

Mmmmmmm.......sounds a lot like Madoff's tactics---to shrug off the suckers he was ripping off......

REALITY CHECK The WH con artist screwed-up---and is resorting to Chicago gangland parlance to cover his ***.

He stupidly backed himself into a corner, so he did what any practiced conman would do.......he blamed his victims.

We just "heard wrong."

If the memo/action/order doesn’t “direct...anything unlawful”, then why are 17 states filing a lawsuit against his “memo/action/order”? (Pick a name, any name ;)

Which order? Got a copy of what they are filing suit over?

I keep seeing EO popping up, and there wasn't one. People need to get their terms right, language means something, and a judge will let them know very quickly.

[Steve] King: Those Who Vote to Fund Obama’s Amnesty Can’t Sincerely Take Oath of Office
Cybercast News Service ^ | December 3, 2014 - 6:55 PM | Craig Millward / FR Posted by Olog-hai

At a Capitol Hill news conference on Wednesday, conservative members of Congress said that President Barack Obama’s executive action on immigration should not be funded in the next spending bill, a continuing resolution, to keep the government operating, either in the short term or the long term. […]

“We’re presented with this proposal that we ought to fund the president's lawless, unconstitutional act,” said Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa) at the press conference. “And I can look at this thing, as I have all throughout the Thanksgiving break, and try to conclude how it is that anybody can step into the House or the Senate chambers January 6 and take an oath to uphold this Constitution, this oath right here, having voted to fund the president’s lawless, unconstitutional act.

“That crosses a line that can’t be tolerated, and anybody that would vote to fund it can’t sincerely take this oath next January—that’s my view,” said King. …(Excerpt) Read more at cnsnews.com ...

As I mentioned, 0bola/press aren’t using the term Executive Action, for the most part. They’re calling it an “Executive Action”.

Which order? Got a copy of what they are filing suit over?

I guess you can ask the 17 states who are suing 0bola for a copy of what they’re filing suit over....

From article I linked, earlier....

Texas is leading a 17-state coalition suing over President Barack Obama’s recently announced executive actions on immigration, arguing in a lawsuit filed Wednesday that the move “tramples” key portions of the U.S. Constitution.

If there’s not going to be any “action”, why is 0 moving ahead and building a new immigrant processing facility in VA? .....

.....Federal officials are hiring 1,000 permanent employees to open a U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services office in Virginia that will help implement President Obama’s recent executive orders on immigration.

Appears to be lots of misinformed folks out there, discussing 0’s Executive Whatever, using the various term(s).

From what I've been able to find, I stongly suspect the States are filing lawsuits based on DACA, which was 2012, not the recent memos.

The WaPo editor said that only 7 are fraud detection staff, so most of it will be processing activities.

The time crunch is that this is supposed to go into effect in Jan. and if the House can vote to block this the House will be in a better position.

House will pass a bill, not to be taken up in the senate, but a statement of disapproval.

There may be other actions on the table, he just didn’t mention it.
