The writer is Seth Lipsky, formerly the publisher and senior editor of the lone true Conservative NY city daily newspaper, the New York Sun.

A movement that cherishes pro-life principles contradicts itself when it emerges against immigration.

I would REALLY like to hear the writer further explain this one.

Later on he implies that the US can handle unlimited immigration because its one of the least densely populated countries in the world. I'd like him to explain the logic behind that one, too.

Why are more people always better? If true, then India, Indonesia and Haiti would be superpowers.

People of different cultures are themselves different, they are NOT fungible.

No comparison.

We are not saying they can’t live.

We are not saying they can’t live here.

We are saying they need to get here the legal way.

The Founding Fathers were clear about who sets immigration policy

They also were clear about who can be President.
That didn't matter in 1881, 2008, or 2012, so why will this?

Just a minor problem with this article: the constitution only addresses naturalization. It is mute on immigration. The several states set immigration law until the 1890’s. That was consistent with 10th Amendment.

The Founding Fathers? You mean those mean old white men who owned slaves? Hell, if they were alive today Obama would be a slave. To hell with them! /s /s /s /s just to make sure you know it’s sarcasm. Unfortunately, it’s exactly how the liberals think.

The Foundling Fathers were also clear about protectionism, tariffs and trade policy.
