Shortly after the odious Lawrence v. Texas decision in which the US Supreme Court, in a grim foreshadowing of the short shrift it has given the desecration of the concept of marriage, decided to toss a couple of millenia of Western Civilization so no ones libido would be restrained by law, Rick Santorum gave an interview with Associated Press:
And if the Supreme Court says that you have the right to consensual sex within your home, then you have the right to bigamy, you have the right to polygamy, you have the right to incest, you have the right to adultery. You have the right to anything. Does that undermine the fabric of our society? I would argue yes, it does. It all comes from, I would argue, this right to privacy that doesnt exist in my opinion in the United States Constitution, this right that was created, it was created in Griswold Griswold was the contraceptive case and abortion. And now were just extending it out. And the further you extend it out, the more you this freedom actually intervenes and affects the family. You say, well, its my individual freedom. Yes, but it destroys the basic unit of our society because it condones behavior thats antithetical to strong healthy families. Whether its polygamy, whether its adultery, where its sodomy, all of those things, are antithetical to a healthy, stable, traditional family.
As expected the Lavender Gestapo went after him. Buggery crusader and cheap bully of high school students, Dan Savage, organized a google-bomb of Santorums name. Fun was had by all. All the fun, however, has disguised the fact that Santorum was even more right than he could have imagined.

A country can pass a multitude of laws designed to legislate morality but without a healthy fear of God and a desire to obey HIs commandments we will certainly circle the drain.
Bingo.
Even with a “fear” and a “desire to obey commandments” it STILL will circle the drain.
Love is the thing that cements salvation.
You also have the right to go straight to hell
Sprinting towards Sodom.
The idea that we don’t have a right to privacy is specious.
The Fourth Amendment specifically protects our right to privacy.
But the right to privacy doesn’t outweigh other people’s rights, most importantly the individual, God-given, unalienable right to life.
There simply is no legitimate protection for the private commission of crimes.
Post of the day.

Good one.
Rick Santorum, the brat of the debates, may be ‘vindicated’, but i will never vote for that piece of flesh, resultant on his behavior.
The desire to please God and Christ out of love follows from developing a relationship with him and this leads to salvation, that is true. But our culture must first learn to accept HIs authority and fear his judgment on the road back to righteousness.
You cannot love what you don’t even acknowledge. We must start at the beginning.
