Only because the woman from the TLC insisted on being charged.

That reaks of entrapment

“progressives” revel in ruining people’s lives. Especially minorities.

It was. But the fact that he was cleared can't get his job back :(

When I drove a cab, I gave a couple of people rides who were trapped late @ night. Could be a matter of life and death. Especially for a woman like this case.

Are there any countries more hostile to free enterprise than the USSA?

"Why is jfk to Laguardia considered an illegal fare for anybody? Is it because he’s out of state?"

Because the limo business owner didn't pay the extortion... err I mean fees to the proper gub'ment crime boss...

Probably so. Generally you need a license from where you pick people up.

That was a horrible dirty trick that the TLC pulled on Mr. Davis, but the Heroic Capitalists of Adamo Limousine are also guilty of loathsome behavior. Firing and then suing an employee for such an innocent action is truly disgusting.

None that I can think of.

I often wonder what I would do in a case like this if it happened to me. Most Likely I would HUNT HER DOWN, probably in a Taxi or Limo in the hopes another Sting attempt was made, As soon as she entered the vehicle my Signal Jammer would be activated, doors locked and NO COMMUNICATION whatsoever, Then DRIVE AWAY, after removing her Cell Phone and Warm Clothes, I would drop her off in the Worst Neighborhood I could Find completely defenseless or deep in the Wilderness, I would justify this action by claiming An Illegal Passenger got into my vehicle and attempted to Force me to Break the Law. I was in Fear for my Livelyhood.
