A grieving Afghan mother took bloody revenge on the Taliban militants who gunned down her son, killing 25 and injuring five of them during a seven hour gun battle.
Reza Gul watched helplessly as her son died while he manned a village checkpoint with his small team of police officers in the lawless Farah province.
But flanked by her daughter and daughter-in-law, she led a counter strike on his attackers killing 25 militants and wounding another five during a ferocious seven hour gun battle.
'I couldn't stop myself and picked up a weapon,' Gul told TOLO News. 'I went to the check post and began shooting back.'
Her daughter-in-law Seema added: 'The fighting was intensified when we reached the battlefield along with light and heavy weapons. We were committed to fight until the last bullet.'

Reminds me of the story of Hannah Duston from Haverhill, MA. She was captured in an Indian raid on Haverhill in 1697. She killed and scalped 10 of her captives and escaped. She then fought for years to get paid the bounty for the scalps.

Why would anyone think heaven would be 72 virgins? That is hell! I would prefer 72 slutty rock band groupies past their prime. Preferably with some psychological issues involving boundaries and limits.

Have you ever seen the movie, The Beast? It came out in 1988 about the Russians in Afghanistan. The Afghani people are fiercely independent and even drove the Brits out a hundred years prior. No one in their right mind invades Afghanistan.

In the future when Anti-women Military Men bitch about women in combat, I will post this. Furthermore,if I were the US Military, I'd recruit her and her daughters. She's a good shot and has the courage of a lion and the balls that many men (non-military) don't have.
