The great thing about Obama’s teleprompter is that when he stops reading from it, he slips up and tells the truth.
The White House has argued that President Obama’s executive amnesty order last week was made well within the existing law. But in remarks in Chicago tonight, President Obama went off script and admitted that in fact he unilaterally made changes to the law.
President Obama made the admission after getting heckled for several minutes by immigration protesters.
“Now, you’re absolutely right that there have been significant numbers of deportations. That’s true. But what you are not paying attention to is the fact that I just took an action to change the law.”
And then the applause. Which is the whole point.
The President of the United States doesn’t get to make his own laws, unless he feels like it. What are you gonna do about it, teabagger?
Obama is right about one thing: It makes no sense to yell at him for sticking to his sworn oath to preserve, protect, and defend the United States Constitution. He hasn’t, he isn’t, and he never will.
Note that he just paid more attention to some woman yelling at him during a speech than to the millions of people who voted on Nov. 4. He has his priorities, and the will of the people is irrelevant.
P.S.
Obama 2012: I can't change the law Obama last week: I'm not changing the law Obama now: I just changed the law Media: *seal clap*
Dictators make laws, not presidents.
Me and many to obama, we just took action and it was a good flush.
What? Are you just typing random words again?
Nah, he's both. But no one can control themselves to keep the truth down. He inadvertently spoke what's actually on his mind.
Self control is the real culprit here. He lacks it.
Obama can’t handle being heckled. We should keep the pressure on him. Send hecklers to every speaking event.
He thinks he is a dictator I guess.
So he admitted he broke the law. Why does not the Secret Service do its job arrest the son of gun (self censoring). Where is the FBI and CIA How about the INS all these agencies should do the same. So the next time I break the law, I will simply tell the officer laws do not apply, I am exempt because the Obama says so. (Utilizing Obama’s arrogance ( Do You believe I am that arrogant))
Someone should ask him who his favorite President is and watch him go speechless.
I think that Lincoln would be a pretty safe bet, though he might say FDR or JFK.
Ok, I might agree with arrogance but, ultimately, it's born of the fact that he knows full well the Republicans won't do a damn thing about any of it, not now, not next year. The Republicans are on his side. I hope all those that held their noses and voted R just because R is "better" than D are feeling really really really really dumb right now.
I don’t think he would pick Jefferson Davis, although some of his own ancestors probably supported Davis over Lincoln.
He would say, Obola...
Of course, that is assuming the chief justice will actually rule according to the Constitution.
Obama: I Just Took An Action To Change The Law
That is called “Writing Law” you dumbass Obama!
Can we make a rule now that no president can ever again use a teleprompter?
EVERY SINGLE president prior to OZero managed to do without one. Why can’t we just outlaw them from here on out?
Maybe we’ll have to let the Kenyan Usurper keep his until he leaves office. But after that, we should be done with them.
