School kids are blaming Michelle Obama for their “gross” school lunches
Washington Post ^ | November 24, 2014 | By Roberto A. Ferdman

School kids around the country are tweeting rather unfortunate pictures of the meals they're being served at lunchtime, and thanking first lady and healthy school food advocate Michelle Obama for their bowls of mush and mystery proteins.

The tweets, which have carried the not-so-subtle #ThanksMichelleObama hashtag, were being sent out at a rate of 40 per minute late last week, but started to gain momentum some 10 days back and are still continuing to be posted as of this morning.

"We've seen the photos being tweeted," said Sam Kass, executive director of Let's Move! and senior policy advisor for Nutrition."But we don't dictate the food that schools serve—school districts do.

"But we don't dictate the food that schools serve—school districts do."

What a pantload. This regime will lie about anything. When the House wanted to loosen the straightjacket the regime has place over school lunch Moochelle and Kass accused them of trying to give kids unhealthy lunches.

At least Kass is no longer trying to fob himself off as "White House Chef," which he used to do.

BTW, what is that stuff in the picture? Its unrecognizable.

The opportunity is freaking OBVIOUS:

Why doesn’t the GOP lift a finger to transfer some of this Youth Animosity for Michelle over to LIBERALS, more generally?

The Obama Administration will eventually end, and we want to PROFIT from this.

The kids ARE doing a good job on their own, but this needs to get transferred over to Hillary.

Libs mostly still have them with wine, women, and song —this “gross lunch” is a jeweled weapon that has been **tossed into our laps**.

My grandkid won’t eat the government lunches, but the school requires bag lunches from home be exactly the same every day. Very Stalin.

Why, "Yes"! They are 'free' lunches. And hey! Isn't that a "free" "education" the government schools are providing? How about stop living off the taxpayers and fund your own schools?

"But we don't dictate the food that schools serve—school districts do."

Translation; "Just because we require schools to serve slop doesn't mean it can't be good slop."

How about this thought; "School lunches are none of your damn business!"?

“school requires bag lunches from home be exactly the same every day”

Would like to see that enforced. I’d tell the principle to their face that this is none of their business.
