There is nothing extraordinary about this article, except for the ignorant commenter who blames our 30th President for causing the Depression.

Why? Because Coolidge lowered taxes and deregulated.

Wow! What a putz!

I’m from WI, and I really like Walker as governor; he has courage and he is no rino. However, IMO, he would be a weak GOP presidential nominee. Although he is a very good politician and good at policy, he lacks the intellectual conservative firepower and incredibly facile mind of someone like Ted Cruz. We need someone like Cruz to take on the GOPe and the Leftist media.

Scott Walker is soft on immigration, he failed to meet state job creation campaign promises, and he is too closely alligned to members of the GOPe ruling clique (Priebus, Ryan, Norquist, and Rove).

He has not demostrated the steely resolve, the willingness to speak the Truth, and the courage to stick it to Obama like Ted Cruz has. Unlike Ted Cruz, Scott Walker has done NOTHING to defend the Constitution from Obama’s assault upon it.

With his experience breaking unions, and running a state, Walker would be a valuable VP addition to the ticket. However, I concur that he does not seem to have the vigor and intellectual agility that we need to win the next presidential race. I wouldn’t mind a Cruz/Walker ticket! But the other way around doesn’t work very well.

A well tested popular Republican from a blue northern state is what we need to actually win...

I love Ted Cruz and I love Sarah Palin but I don’t think either one of them can win the northern blue states.

If I could pick the US President it would be Allen West. WHAT A MAN!

Just another case of the left trying to pick our candidate. Don’t fall for it.

I like Walker, sent him some money on multiple elections and have rooted for him vs the union thugs.

Walker has shown firm resolve when things get tough, so he's not a wimp, but it is fair to say, that he doesn't light up the room with his bland personality.

I would rather have substance over style but with tv, facebook, instagram, linkedin, and nearly every young person being guided via ipad, etal, a tv type personality is required.

He'd be a great vp, in the words of cnn....gravitas.

Anyone who will match executive orders one by one to undo what Obama has done.

The Left will howl and take it to court, but the argument should be simple: If it is illegal for a Republican President to undo it by EO, then it was also illegal when it was done by EO - it has no legal standing to remain in effect.

Jeez, I'd love to read this, being at least minimally interested in the remarkable Scott Walker, and the Coolidge comparison is a valid one that had already occurred to me, and I already lean toward Ted Cruz and will not help Jeb Bush.

Unfortunately, Grover Norquist might as well be an agent of the Muslim Brotherhood, as far as I'm concerned.

When we tried the last two candidates from the Midwest(Dole and Romney, not to mention VP candidate Ryan), they were massive flops.

We need a true conservative from the South to win the big one.

I am anxious to get Warren on the Dem ticket. We all know how the Massachusetts libs flame out spectacularly.

The most dangerous ones against us are Southern Dems(think LBJ, Clinton, Carter) as they masquerade as “Good ‘ol boys”

"What Makes Wisconsin's Republican Governor Scott Walker a Good Choice for 2016"?

His wife likes dairy, bratwurst, and kringle...so my final answer is, "A whole new take on school lunch programs."

What do I win?
