Hurst police say they have arrested two people — a 17-year-old who posed as a sixth-grader at an elementary school and a man who posed as his father — after seizing evidence of child pornography from a Fort Worth home earlier this week. In a news release, Hurst police said they raided the home in the 2100 block of David Drive based on a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. During the raid Tuesday, police seized a “large amount” of evidence of child pornography and exploitation of children, police said. Sgt. Craig Teague said the evidence led police to arrest Ricardo Lugo, 17, and Randy Ray Wesson, 28. The two are not related, but evidence from the home links them together, Teague said. Wesson was home when police arrived to execute a search warrant. He was arrested and charged with possession with the intent to promote child pornography, sale or display of harmful material and tampering with government record. His bail was set at $3 million. Lugo was at Hurst Hills Elementary, where he was enrolled as a sixth grader, at the time of the raid. Child Protective Services removed him from the school because authorities initially thought he was 12 years old. But they soon learned Lugo had used counterfeit documents to gain enrollment at the school. In an email, Hurst-Euless-Bedford ISD spokeswoman Judy Ramos said that the school followed the usual procedures when Lugo enrolled in August. “There was no indication that the student’s records were forged or that the student was too old to attend elementary school,” she said. “The student’s behavior at school also did not raise any concerns.” Ramos said Lugo was not arrested at the school.

"According to an arrest affidavit, Lugo and Wesson met on Instagram in late 2013 and early 2014. Wesson told investigators Lugo was unhappy at home in Juarez. Mexico and he was 12-years-old. In either late February or early March, Wesson drove to El Paso and watched Lugo walk across the border and [Lugo] came back to Fort Worth with Wesson.
"Wesson told investigators he and Lugo have had a sexual relationship since that time."
okay wait a minute. a 17 year old poses as a 6 grader?

I saw a story like this on a TV crime show (fiction) and thought “This is not believable.”
And here it is in real life, in Texas, coming to a school near you, thanks to Obama and open borders.

There is a pic of him on the link. He does look pretty young.
At 17 I had a beard and a deepening voice. That should have been an obvious sign that he wasn’t 12.
so yea, some people can come off as being much younger....
My oldest son, now 28, had to deal with a combination of short stature on my side of the family, and late blooming on his dad’s side. He was 2-1/2 standard deviations shorter than average. I gauarantee you he could have passed for 12 at age 17 in a heartbeat. We got lucky, though. The endocrinologist decided he would benefit from injections of HCG. He is now about 5’9”. He grew over 12” in HS. So, anyway, it can happen. My son looked way younger than this kid at age 17, I’ll grant you that.
