Human Rights Campaign says Barilla has turned around its policies on LGBT (Now 100% gay ally)
Washington Post ^ | November 19 2014 | Sandhya Somashekhar

Not long ago, pasta-maker Barilla was just one more major company that had run afoul of the gay rights movement...

But in a sign of how toxic it has become for a company to be viewed as unfriendly toward gays, Barilla has made a dramatic turnaround in the space of one year, expanding health benefits for transgender workers and their families, contributing money to gay rights causes, and featuring a lesbian couple on a promotional Web site.

...companies, which typically shy away from controversy, are increasingly being forced to take sides in the cultural battle over gay rights and same-sex marriage — and pro-gay forces have decisively gained the upper hand.

The company’s 100 rating in the Human Rights Campaign’s annual Corporate Equality Index, which is based on internal company policies as well as corporate citizenship, is remarkable, said Deena Fidas, director of the workplace program for the Human Rights Campaign.

Talita Erickson, chief diversity officer for Barilla, said that the company has demonstrated its sincerity with its actions. It has expanded its health benefits to include transgender-related care. It has instituted a thorough diversity training that all 8,000 of its workers will eventually undergo. It has broadened its anti-discrimination policy to cover gay and transgender people.

The company also has donated money to the Tyler Clementi Foundation, an anti-bullying organization founded by the parents of a gay Rutgers University student who committed suicide, and featured a lesbian couple on a Web site devoted to urging families to eat more meals together.

[snip]

“My understanding is we’re absolutely open to having the LGBT community represented in our ads in the future,” she said. “It’s going to happen gradually.”

I really like Barilla, this is a bummer. The homosexual commissars will have most in their corner before long.

The world has gone crazy. The freaks, degenerates, and the truly stupid are in charge of everything while normal, upstanding people are the freaks and the ostracized. I think we’ve gone beyond the point of no return and we’re on our way to destroying the human race.

Their pasta was always pretty weak.

Does anyone have a list of non-gmo pastas?

I think we’ve gone beyond the point of no return and we’re on our way to destroying the human race.

I'd say the demise of the culture previously known as "Western civilization" is pretty much accomplished. All that remains is the mopping up.

This is what the gaystapo always does. They did it in the bible too. (Twice.)

As for what we do, the best idea of which I am aware is to get a fight started between the Muslims and the Gays and then stand back and let these enemies destroy each other. The Muslims have defacto special rights to go after gays without fear of media or legal retaliation.

They can and will do things that Christians can't and won't.

we have the numbers of the wallet.

take your money someplace else. That is the only statement companies understand.

Look at network TV. Even with the internet etc. Their decline is accelerated by the deviants on their programing.

Now that they went pervert I will no longer purchase the product.
Tired of this bullshit. Make a product and sell it. Stop helping to promote perversion.

I can tell you straight out, that this was a shakedown by the Obama homosexual mafia. Barilla was told, that if they want to do business in the US, then they must adhere to the homosexual agenda. It is a simple as that. A total shakedown and Barilla caved.

Certainly network tv has declined, but isn’t it mostly due to competition from non-network tv and various forms of “new media”
