A senior executive at Uber suggested that the company should consider hiring a team of opposition researchers to dig up dirt on its critics in the media — and specifically to spread details of the personal life of a female journalist who has criticized the company

The executive, Emil Michael, made the comments in a conversation he later said he believed was off the record. In a statement through Uber Monday evening, he said he regretted them and that they didn’t reflect his or the company’s views

Over dinner, he outlined the notion of spending “a million dollars” to hire four top opposition researchers and four journalists. That team could, he said, help Uber fight back against the press — they’d look into “your personal lives, your families,” and give the media a taste of its own medicine.

I wonder if this is one tool 0bama brought to DC?? Is this why Political critics are silent? The Ebola Czar has almost snuffed out ALL bad Ebola press!

Absolutely. I also think we need to make the lower level pucks in government agencies like EPA fair game as well. Way too often people are making decisions and no one is holding them accountable. There’s a 1000 Lerners out there where the light never shines.

Anyone see Obama's Ebola Czar?

Nope. But his purpose isn't to do anything about Ebola, really. He's the designated "whipping boy" for the King. The patsy, the chump, the sacrificial lamb. Things are quite now on the Ebola front so the presidential food taster (if you will) has a pretty easy ride. Obama won't need to throw him under the bus until there is another major SNAFU with government and Ebola. When that happens, Obama will be all over it in the Press Briefings about how "this is the first I've heard of it, and I'm mad as hell at [Ebola Czar], blah, blah, yadda, yadd...."

One person donates $$ RE: ‘gay marriage’ (Firefox) and is drummed out of his position, but another actively (thought they were not being recorded) goes anti-1st Amend and condones thuggery, and....apologizes.

Now, how can one make comments and STILL claim ‘they didn’t reflect his...views’???

The NSA is way ahead of the curve.

Obama has already collected loads of dirt on the media, the USSC and every last politician in Congress.
