“trying to alleviate suffering and helping those in need”

Nice ideals, but trying to help subhuman savages gets you killed.

"I am obviously pretty scared to die but the hardest part is not knowing, wondering, hoping, and wondering if I should even hope at all. I am very sad that all this has happened and for what all of you back home are going through. If I do die, I figure that at least you and I can seek refuge and comfort in knowing that I went out as a result of trying to alleviate suffering and helping those in need."

The poor, foolish, self-deluded man. The anguish of his death must have been multiplied exponentially by the sudden realization that the people he tried to help were hate-filled savages who couldn't care less about his sacrifice on their part!

He speaks of hope, but is completely unaware that there is no hope in worshipping allah the demon.

There is only hope in Jesus Christ - no one and nothing else.

When you try to alleviate your own suffering and help your own needs they call you selfish.

I’m really sorry for what happened to him...

But it’s often the case that idealistic people with world views that are contrary to reality, more often than not end up that way.

May he rest in peace.

I note the muslims who half-heartedly pleaded for his life only did so because he was a muslim, that he gave aid and comfort to our enemies, that his parents & Obama, after his death at the least, could have referred to him by his given name. Lots of messed up behavior to go around. I don’t trust people like him, and assume they are there help the enemy, even if mistakenly. All that said, we still should eliminate ISIS from the face of the Earth.

I still feel that until we eliminate the pain, hunger and suffering in own own country, we have no moral right to go off to other lands...or subject our families back home to the pain and suffering because of your voluntary choices.

That’s pure selfishness.

I think they do that for the attention and praise.

Jesus says to do good in secret - not looking for man’s praise...

“Dr. Hudson’s Secret Journal” - by Lloyd C. Douglas, was a great novel that should’ve been used as a blueprint for life. The upshot was: You practiced Jesus’s lesson of doing for others in secret - telling the helped person that payment was “never tell anyone where you got the help - and to help others in the same way.”

What a different world that would be...

And once a person uses this rule - they find the ‘inside rewards’ to be much more than what ‘man’s praise’ could be.

“When you try to alleviate your own suffering and help your own needs they call you selfish.”

The theme that runs through his email is a very selfish one. He’s extremely concerned about his need and desire to be seen (by himself and others) as a “good person”.

From the article - “To attain a pureness of spirit I must never stop working to improve myself.”

There is no such thing as altruism - everything anyone does, he does to satisfy a personal need. The fact that that need is not materialistic doesn’t mean it’s not selfish.

He supposedly converted at some point before his trip.

If he was so much into helping the world, just think how many more over the decades he could have helped by staying out of turd world cesspools and hooking up with islamics. Can't fix stupid.

They say he possibly ‘ fought back ‘ before his moment of execution , causing the ISIS aholes to be unable to film the act of hyper brutality . He found his Ranger balls , but a bit too late .

This should serve as a clear message to anyone that is crazy enough to be considering ‘ conversion’ to islam . DON’T DO IT ! It’s a sickening death cult and a phony pseudo-religion , populated by unenlightened neanderthal descendants .
Worthy only of eradication from the fabric of humanity , unworthy of conversion to follow.

He was honorably discharged for medical reasons after a brief tour. Just how brief and were those mental reasons? He dropped out of college after a year. He married but a quick divorce followed. He took a medical tech course that probably lasted a few months. He told the msm he couldn’t shake his depression. More and more it seems he was never able to stick with anything very long. ADHD or some other mental issue? His parents “think” he converted to islam before being captured which means he was off doing his own thing and not keeping them in the loop and probably just another distracted fanciful flight. That’s all well and good he wanted to help people but who knows how long that ambition would have lasted before he changed directions again. The dude was messed up, imo.

I hope this convert is enjoying his 72 women and rivers of wine in Paradise. Allah will have a special place for the people who murdered him-—I hope they like Fecid Dung—for the Koran says that is all they shall eat forever!
