Sen. Ted Cruz Headlining Hate Conference Hosted By Extremist Anti-Gay Group This Weekend: VIDEO

Does Sen. Ted Cruz believe AIDS is God's punishment for being gay?

Does Cruz believe that government should regulate homosexuality and that public schools are using anti-bullying laws to indoctrinate children into homosexuality?

Does Cruz believe that we need more hate and less tolerance in the world?

If not, perhaps Cruz should explain why he's headlining a legislative conference in Dallas this weekend hosted by a group whose founder has said each and every one of those things.

Cruz, along with another potential 2016 GOP presidential candidate, Gov. Bobby Jindal, is scheduled to keynote the Wallbuilders ProFamily Legislators Conference, which "provides an opportunity for conservative pro-family State legislators from across the United States to come together for an insightful briefing session with leading experts in a variety of fields that touch many of the most crucial areas of public service."

Wallbuilders is led by founder David Barton, who in addition to anti-LGBT extremism is best known for a total lack for credibility. From the Southern Poverty Law Center:

David Barton’s ascendant star as a self-taught “historian” and influential leader of the evangelical far right crashed in a storm of ridicule when the world’s largest Christian publisher recalled Barton’s 2012 book, The Jefferson Lies, for too many serious whoppers — the kind of gross factual mistakes that are a death knell for any real historian. ...

Barton still retains some influence, but only in the most extreme and uneducated segments of the Christian Right. Virtually all serious conservatives have repudiated him, and his chances of making a comeback seem remote, to be kind, although he sounds just as glib and sure as himself as ever.

Apparently, "the most extreme and uneducated segments of the Christian Right" include two potential GOP presidential candidates.

Cruz made headlines this week when he called net neutrality "Obamacare for the Internet" and railed against government regulations to enforce it.

Maybe someone in the mainstream media should ask Cruz whether he believes, like Barton, that government should regulate homosexuality.

After all, Grindr is probably nothing but Obamacare for Cruz's iPhone.

Watch a promo for the upcoming hate summit, AFTER THE JUMP...

Oy.

He’d better wear a flak jacket.

Well, he knows that the media scrutiny that should have been put on Obama, who couldn’t pass a security investigation to enlist as a Private in the US Army, and his cohorts, Saul Alinsky will be directed to Ted Cruz

Talk about hate. These pansy pukes are making the attack now in fear of 2016. I wonder if they can perform another Palin assination on Cruz.

It’s more likely he believes in a creator order under the influence of sinful behavior. That puts him in the mainstream of thinking for certainly the last 2000 years, if not much more.

Perhaps you need to re-think your world view.

What are the options?

Legalize it so they can tax it?

Or deregulate it so we can get more of it?

“anti-LGBT extremism”

***

What kind of extremism? Shoot a gay person?

In these liberals’ twisted world, calling homosexuality a sin is “extremism.”

“Does Sen. Ted Cruz believe AIDS is God’s punishment for being gay?”

I’m sure he doesn’t believe this nor does the “extremest” group in question.

Being “gay” of it’s self, is not a sin. Sodomy certainly is and it would he hard to argue that AIDS is not “nature’s” punishment for having butt sex with another man. To the extent that nature is part of God’s design, you could transpose God and nature. Just saying...

Funsadly, the homos I’ve known would relish that. They crave drama in everything.

I've listened to Barton several times on the Andrew Womak. I have to say it's hard to argue some of the things he says after he produces original documents written by the country's founders. I certainly have a new understanding of what Separation of Church and State is after litening to him and I was astounded to hear prayer in school was okay up to 1962 and Bibles were allowed until 1963. He's called a revisionist, but it seems like the world as been so upside down lately because the media/government has made it so damned hard to tell truth from fiction, that when he tells it like it was back then, he catches a lot of flack for it. Then again, I like listening to Osteen and have been heavily criticized for that apparent high crime and misdemeanor here on Free-republic.

“Does Sen. Ted Cruz believe AIDS is God’s punishment for being gay?”
Unlikely seeing as not all Gay people get AIDS it may be more accurate to describe AIDS for some as being punishment for behaving recklessly with ones body.

The fact that many people who engage in sodomy most certainly qualifies as a form of reckless behavior that does often enough lead to diseases like aids. Recklessly risky as it can never leads to anything of long term good or need such as a child. And is often carried out by the same group in a multi-partner setting that is ideal for the spread and development of STDs. Monogamy and homosexuality are not natural partners due to zero risk of developing the parental need for unity of family.

In this respect AIDS like all other STD’s can certainly be seen as one of God’s Punishments promiscuous sodomy, as it more directly a punishment for the life style they choose.

However Sodomites need to be informed that unless they repent and get help this earthy punishment will be by far insignificant compared to that which they will have to endure.

Is AIDS a punishment or is it one possible consequence of a behavior Christians are warned away from in no uncertain terms?

There are severe negative consequences to engaging in homosexual behavior, both physical and mental. Hard, unbiased statistics bear this out to anyone willing to read and understand.

AIDS is a consequence that I believe was referenced thousands of years ago in the Bible. Homosexual behavior is inherently unhealthy, always has been and thus we were warned away long ago by a loving God seeking to guide us away from destruction and protect us.

What has happened to every society with widespread acceptance of homosexuality? It’s an end-stage symptom of decline and that society will soon be history. That’s what history itself shows us.

“The left always tells you who & what they fear.”

It would be more accurate to say the left always tells you whom and what they would like you to fear.

As for AIDS and its relation to the homosexual community Its rather easy to recognize that actions have consequences, and although AIDS is not a direct consequent of being homosexual it is a consequence of some of the non-monogamous and unnatural behavior many homosexuals engage in recklessly. To that extent it is fair to call it Natural punishment, however it is not honest to say then that this earthy Consequence for some sinfully behavior is the only Consequence of their dangerous lifestyle.

Indeed an honest man would have to warn them that unless they repent and change their ways there are far more serous consequences to come. AIDS after all can at most damage the body and ends with death.

Does Sen. Ted Cruz believe AIDS is God's punishment for being gay?

Well, that's one way to put it.

Another is that God created our biological systems, and AIDs is the biological consequence of the sharing fecal pathogens through indiscriminate promiscuous faggotic behavior...so is hepatitis and a zillion other STDs.

That is, if you believe in.....

...biology.
