The Constitution REQUIRES impeachment of a usurping chief executive. [FReepathon XLIV]

The Constitution must be defended or we become a lawless state. The Constitution clearly gives the congress the sole power to legislate and specifically, in this case, the sole power to regulate immigration.

Facts: The president has made proposals for various levels of immigration reform, amnesty, etc, and all such proposals have been soundly defeated and rejected by the congress. The president now claims that if the congress does not act as he dictates, then he will grant amnesty by executive order to millions of aliens who have entered the country and are residing here illegally.

This illegal act would obviously and seriously violate the Constitution and the congress would be required to move for impeachment of the president, otherwise the president has nullified the Constitution and the Republic will have been replaced by a dictatorship.

If the current elected government is so corrupt, negligent and incompetent that it fails to uphold its primary duties to abide by, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution and the rights and security of the citizens, then it will no longer be a government representing or acting in the interests of the people and it will be time to alter or abolish it and institute new government per the Founding documents.

Each and every congressman and senator swears an oath to defend the Constitution:

"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God."

If the president follows through with his threat to usurp the Constitution, then the congress must impeach. If they fail their sworn duty, then its up to we the people. And we who have sworn the oath take it mighty serious.

Open Letter: Duty and Responsibility of Elected Office
My Open Letter that I am sending all my Representatives, the Speaker of the House and the Senate Elect Majority leader. Amazingly several of the email boxes are full now... But I will continue to send. You are more than welcome to use this letter or any part of it if you are so inclined.

Our Nation was Founded on the Key Principles that God is where All Our Rights come from, that we are a Nation of Laws the Top Law of which is the Structure of the Government set forth in the Constitution. In the Declaration of Independence We Stated this: “We have warned them from time to time of attempts by their legislature to extend an unwarrantable jurisdiction over us. We have reminded them of the circumstances of our emigration and settlement here. We have appealed to their native justice and magnanimity, and we have conjured them by the ties of our common kindred to disavow these usurpations, which, would inevitably interrupt our connections and correspondence. They too have been deaf to the voice of justice and of consanguinity. We must, therefore, acquiesce in the necessity, which denounces our Separation, and hold them, as we hold the rest of mankind, Enemies in War, in Peace Friends.”

The Constitution is very Clear, Congress is the Law making body and the Executive Branch is charge with the Authority to enforce those Laws. God teaches us Right (Good) and Wrong (Evil) but Mans Arrogance tries to justify a 3rd option, live in the Grey, IE doing a partial right, which is the Lie too many believe in. There is and cannot be No Grey, there is Only Right and Wrong.

Already now the Executive Branch under the Office of the President Obama has broken the Laws such as DOMA, Immigration, Obamacare (changes in the law), Release of Illegal immigrants, … and now if this is not enough he is setting up to allow the nation to be Invaded by changing Immigration Law again, chaining minimum wage, Energy production…

Myself, Charles Krauthammer and so many more talking heads are all agreeing with Common Sense and the Law that these violations are grounds for Impeachment. But Charles and many more make the equivalence that doing so opens up a Pandora’s Box of “Politics”! They wish to live and make decisions in the Grey. This is the Problem that you and your fellow Representative’s need to Seek God and Clearly Focus on doing the Right Thing. Uphold the Law of the Nation, for if the supreme Law of the Nation is not worth upholding then why would any subordinate law be worth following? If we are to be a Nation of Laws the Answer is Simple, or are we to fall into the annals of history as a nation who could not even enforce its most critical laws?

We have Military who perform their Duty and Responsibility by proceeding into hot zones to protect this nation and the office you hold. There are Police who every day fulfill their Duty and Responsibility rushing into the fire or danger to help ensure the Nation is protected against enemy’s foreign and domestic. They all swore and Oath of Office similar to the one you swore, on the Bible: “I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God.”

It is now time for our Representatives to step up to their Duty and Responsibility and do what they were Elected to do, Uphold the Constitution and ensure the Rights of All are protected and the Laws of this Nation are Enforced.

I will look for a response from my letter but the response should not be a letter back to me, I am looking to see You Stand up and Driving the move to Impeach or your letter of Resignation because the Job before you is beyond your ability. I Pray the Lord will Enlighten you to his Will and give you the Strength to do the Right Thing.

What I want to know is, what authority does the president have to grant an amnesty.

The subject of executive orders has been tossed around. There are provisions in our laws for the executive branch agencies, and the president himself, to take actions to execute the laws.

So, what I want to know, is there any provision in our existing laws which deal with illegal aliens, for a president to grant an amnesty?

I saw a comparison not long ago, in which whoever wrote an article about executive orders, claimed that Bush had issued more such orders than Obama has. But, without knowing the context and the legal authority given to the executive on the particular subject being dealt with, such is a meaningless comparison.

So, it will be interesting to know, what controlling legal authority is there, for a president to issue a unilateral amnesty to illegal aliens. Will Obama cite any such authority when he issues the amnesty order????
