Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid has privately asked the White House to delay an executive order on immigration until Congress passes a spending bill to keep the government running, ABC News has learned.
While Reid supports President Obama’s ability to act on his own on immigration, he told senators today that he is increasingly concerned some Republicans will seize on the move and try to block the funding bill, which could lead to a government shutdown.

This is the deal Reid is going to get:
1) A CR to fund the Government til late January or
2) Separate bills to fund the Government for FY15, with a rider on the INS funding to prevent Obama from taking Executive action on Amnesty
If either 1 or 2 happens, McConnell will not be shuting down the Government

Why? Because the 2013 partial shut down hurt the Republicans so bad this election?
No because america is filled with mush headed moderates who will believe hook line and sinker when the GOP shuts down the government every dire warning about the GOP being run by the tea party and are heartless and mean will be true...just like the libtards said....
Personally, on Super bowl Sunday as Potus I would cut the government by 50 %.... Nobody would notice until spring...
My point is that even with all the whining about the shutdown, it did not hurt the republicans in the election. That is the only thing the leadership should take away from the experience.
