The president appears to have closed in on steps he wants to take on immigration through executive action...

What 'steps'??? Obama takes out a pen and brushes away the Constitution. He thinks it's his job to write laws... and the suckups at NBC can't see that... Oh, and NBC? They haven't bother to cover the Gruber stuff... guess they protect democrats from bad news. What jerks.

La Raza has a communist based philosophy, and its members are loons who probably believe in space aliens, too-I think Cali is the only state that really takes them seriously. They don’t even get that the name of their organization is incorrect-it means “the race”, and Hispanic/Latino isn’t a race-it is an ethnic group-and most of us are Caucasians.

There are Black Hispanics in the Caribbean and parts of South and Central America, with a few in far southern Mexico-like that actress Stacy Dash. There are Asian Hispanics in the Philippines and areas around there-think Imelda Marcos. The majority of Hispanics/Latinos are Caucasian, like our Spanish ancestors, including those mixed with Native Americans-which is most of us-who are also an ethnic group, and not a “race”.

The driveby media only gives air time to the guys like Grijalva and that Puerto Rican rep who also has a loud mouth and doesn’t know what he is talking about, never to the majority of sane, ordinary people who are conservatives...

No funding and take it to court.

We have some Grijalva types here who held state offices-mostly in certain corrupt southern counties and equally corrupt cities. Happily, many got a well-deserved ass kicking in the last election, despite their dirty politics.

Spanish is my second language, and I watch a Sons of Anarchy and Dynasty type novela on Telemundo in the evenings-I saw more republican ads for Greg Abbott and Hispanic conservatives running for state offices on Telemundo than on any English language station...

Thank you very much for your info. I was aware that La Raza meant “The Race” and knew they had the motto, “Everything for those inside the race, nothing for those outside.” You did point out that they don’t even notice they are not a “race”, but an ethnic group.

It does seem oddly “racist” that they want to promote only Hispanic/Latino causes, and not American causes. I thought we were E Pluribus Unum...but they are “Every group for itself”. Tragic. Hopefully, they “occupy California” and it falls off the side of the map.

I think La Raza movement began in Cali, and every Hispanic/Latino I’ve ever met from there was totally different from every other American of Hispanic/Latino ancestry-Cuban Americans from Florida are more like us than the Cali bunch.

Like so many people of Hispanic/Latino ancestry from the rural areas in the SW, the family has been here for more than a couple of centuries, but I don’t think that is the difference-I think it must be the water in Cali...

” I am up in Chandler and find the entire Phoenix metro area covered with unafraid illegals who are getting bolder and bolder in their behavior (check South Phoenix). “

I lived in the greater Los Angeles area for 30 years. I watched LA go from a pleasant city, to a 3rd world hell hole!
And yes, they are now militant, brazen POS.
