So you still think anyone in government cares about that? They have raw power. Raw power will trump rule of law every time.

Might makes right. You still think the constitution is the supreme law of the land?

Maybe you’ve misunderstood what’s been happening. There is no law past, present, or future that can stop them. They are breaking the law with no consequences to themselves. They’re ruling without the consent of the people and without the rule of law. How could another law stop them?

The only answer, the ONLY answer, it for someone to forcibly remove them and take over execution of the government.

It’s not surrender. It’s observation. Why didn’t the founders just wait for a favorable mandate from the king? Because it was a systemic problem, and not a problem of degrees.

They will not be impeached, therefore they do have the right to do it. There will be marriages now in Kansas, so what are you talking about? The GOP has done nothing to stop them, and where did that get them? Oh, a sweeping majority. We have to stop them.

That won’t happen until a massive campaign in media, entertainment, and academia to normalize it.

What state do you live in? Do you think your senator will support the amendment? Let’s say he does. Sarah Palin’s senators McCain, et el. won’t. Let’s say there are enough Republicans to support it, the Supreme Court, in an unprecedented move, strikes down an amendment as unconstitutional. You’ll say, “they can’t do that.” Well, they did. Am I admitting defeat? No, I’m recognizing that we’re fighting a rigged battle.

Summary:
There is no way a marriage amendment will pass.
If it did pass, the executive would ignore it or
If it did pass, the judicial would overturn it.
The constitution is dead.
We can’t win using it.
We need to change our tactics.

He would send economic threats and Brownback would relent.

Nothing in the Constitution gives fags the right to “marry”.
This entire Supreme Court is a joke. A sad, pathetic joke.

What eats at me is still the fact that only two of he, saw fit to dissent.

Of the 5 GOP-appointed justices, just 2?!

Alito’s lack of dissent shocks me. I thought, up until now, that he was rock-solid.
Roberts, I’m convinced, is going to go full-Souter on us any moment now.
And Kennedy is a wishy-washy as ever.

SCOTUS judges were a trump card for the “you must vote GOP” argument. But it would appear that a big hole has appeared in that line of thought.

Before all this is over, it looks like America itself will be an enemy of God.

I think it already is!

Time for a Federal Marriage Amendment.

You need 38 states to ratify an amendment. Gay marriage was adopted by the voters in 3 states (MD, ME and WA), and by the legislatures in 10 more (CT, VT, RI, NH, MN, HI, NY, DE, MA and CA [passed by the legislature after the courts had invalidated an earlier ban]). So good luck with that.

What would happen if the Governor of Kansas said that the Supreme Court decision is interference with his State, and he won’t abide by it. Is Obola going to send troops to Topeka?

Eisenhower sent federal troops to Arkansas when the Governor refused to obey federal court orders to integrate the schools. I doubt Obama would be any more shy about using federal power.

Another reason I find secession ultimately a better remedy. Sever ties completely with degenerate fag-marriage states.

I've thought of this too, the bad thing is if there was a Governor willing to defy the law, we'd have it on TV, Federal troops going to these areas and to the public at least, they would connect it back to the Civil Rights days, days of integration. I think a Governor who did so, though I would admire them for being brave would be at quite a bit of risk and in the end, the move looks like it would prove to be impotent.
