TUCSON- The Pima County Elections Department counted 4,772 more ballots today and Republican Martha McSally still leads Congressman Ron Barber by 133 votes.
The current vote total is 109,539 for McSally and 109,406 for Barber.
Pima County still has roughly 200 ballots still to count, but are waiting for voters to present identification before they can be counted. Those voters have until 5 p.m. on Wednesday to present identification for their ballot to count.
An automatic recount will be needed if the voting totals are within 200 votes, or one-tenth of one percent of the number of votes cast for both such candidates.
This will go on for awhile.
I think we’re gonna win! Despicable Barber must be defeated!
Because, as we know....the counting doesn’t stop until the Rat wins
Barber was an affable doof back in the 60’s when he hung out at Louie’s Lower Level...
Has there been a study on recounts and which party wins them more?
Tucson.com calling her the apparent winner.

If there are only 200 votes left, McSally only needs 17% of those votes—34—to win the election by one vote. The counting may go on for a while, but I don’t think the outcome of the election will change.
It shouldn’t last long. Couple more days. There’s just on recount allowed, that’s all.
McSally is still ahead, that’s very encouraging.
Sounds like the provisional ballots are only counted if the voter appears and shows their ID.
Put your money on the RAT, whenever it’s that close they’ll find votes under car seats or in trunks of cars.
Although, our local conservative radio host James T Harris, did not endorse any candidate in the CD1 race, he did give high props to Barber who advocated for the A-10 to be continued to be manufactured and give air support to our troops, while McSally was AWOL, and McCain was late to the party.
Now, a republican kingmaker, Bruce Ash, put a “hit” on Harris, because he did not give McSally his full throat support.
“Holy Establishment backlash, Batman! On 1030 KVOI, Bruce Ash, the AZ Republican National Committeeman (1of 50) just called for me to be physically harmed? He said that if McSally loses, I should be “kneecapped.” Does that make him the Toyna Harding of politics? Why? Bruce? Why? Why????

Looks like we (but not us conservatives) are adopting democratic thug language and threats.
I think 6000 ballots have yet to be counted.
Love It!!!
Time to roll the wagons (Chevys) with their trunks full of “Newly discovered” votes.
I think few will show.
Stealing the yard signs of their political opponents and elections is a democratic Tucson tradition, kind of like a gang initiation.
Reads this and weep.
Pima County had an estimated 5,000 early ballots that its scanner could not read. The ballots needed to be duplicated in order to be counted. Roads said that all of the ballots that were duplicated were now counted.
Nelson said a stray mark or stain on the early ballots caused them not to be able to be processed. Pima County officials, joined by Republican and Democratic observers, determined who the voter intended to vote for by inspecting the ballot, Nelson said. Then a new, duplicate ballot was created and run through the scanner and counted.
O’Neil, the Tempe pollster, said those early ballots could be the focus of litigation.

Ahh, ignorance is bliss apparently. I guess he had no clue that McSally was an A-10 pilot who flew the plane in combat. I’m tickled pink to see Barber defeated. He had his wife set up a “non profit” organization to advocate for gun control. They’ve been milking that to pay for their travel and other expenses and I suspect they’ll be on salary from their “non-profit” indefinitely.
