In an effort to counter the rise of the Islamic State (ISIS) and its effect on her borders, Jordan has imposed new rules on Muslim clerics.
In a mandatory meeting held at an auditorium in Zarqa and attended by hundreds of Muslim clerics, Jordan’s Minister of Islamic Affairs, Hayel Dawood, ordered imams to preach moderate Islam—or else.
“You clerics are our ground forces against the extremists,” Hayel Dawood told them. “Once you cross the red line,” he added, “you will not be let back in.” …

Well, lest anyone say there is no such thing as “moderate Islam”, besides the Aga Khan and his followers, we now have the Hashemite King of Jordan and all those loyal to him as examples.
Actually, I’ve long though the Hashemite King of Jordan — both Abdullah and his father Hussein before him — would make a splendid Caliph. A Western-educated, pro-Western claimant to the caliphate would be able to greatly calm the chaos that has been Sunni Islam since the New Turks overthrew the last Caliph (the Sultan) in the 1920’s.
“Peaceful Islam” is found in the same land where “jumbo shrimp” are delivered on “non-stop flights”.
The “jumbo shrimp” are part of a life long government provided “free lunch” in that magic land. Reputedly, “Puff, the Magic Dragon” also lives there.
It is rumored Puff regularly crisps ‘free lunchers’ to assuage his ferocious appetite, so Y’All Democrats don’t say I never warned Ya.

There are the “peaceful” verses, telling Muslims to be good to the “People of the Book” and whatnot.
The deep unanswered question is ‘can the maniacs at Islam’s heart ignore that which they have based their entire existence upon, namely serving their demon god by murdering others, even fellow Moslims’? When Moe’s followers compiled the Koran following Moe’s demise they apparently sought to copy the OT formula which had been significantly altered and supplanted by the NT as Jesus came to give us life more abundantly, not murder more worshipful. The primitive earliest Mooselims did not comprehend the History of those whom the Hebrews were instructed to erase from human genetic continuance.
There was a President of Egypt (Sadat) who sought to reform the direction Islam was leading his people. He was gunned down after making peace with Israel. Islam cannot tolerate greater minds and certainly cannot thrive on peace. May God send His Angels to watch over this man and his entire family.
Peaceful muslims are dead muslims.
Good luck with that King. It would be better to drop the facade and just admit that islam is a satanic inspired doctrine and that people who care for their eternal souls should flee it.
